did you guys do a lot of recruiting in the offseason. Your overall looks a lot better than I remember. Kudos on that

LOL. Just messin with you Law. We upgraded both 200 level sideline sections and maxed out seating but wanted to make sure we had plenty of cash left for level 32 equip costs, which is almost a cool million per player ($800k per). Next offseason is when we'll dump most of our revenue into max seating and cash in. Right now we have more than enough.

We took the opposite approach. I'd rather ensure that the stadium is built as fast as we can to maximize revenue. Our concession sales alone will pay for our salary and anything we get in ticket sales this season will be bonus money. We decided we'd rather slowly buy the EQ and have the stadium built as rapidly as we can to maximize future revenues.

It's all about the cost/benefit analysis. We'll still end up with a pretty big surplus of cash at the end of the season and should be able to build quite a few more sections. The main thing for us this time was to get the club and luxury seats bought and maxed out immediately. We've got enough now from season tickets to cover all equip costs and salaries so the rest of the ticket and concession sales will be bonus money....same result, differnt approach I guess.

both interesting ideas. What the Monkeys did was pay for the season 4 upgrades on day 0 of season 4 and give all their players raises to 6k per day and maxed out the seating (contemplating8k.....but that would cut into my hooker money). Then Tuesday we paid for season 5's upgrades and maxed out the seating for this season. Today I put 10mil in our equipment fund and gave everyone an allowance of 200k (and note - someone has already maxed that out....twice! jerk!)

The problem with that approach Hydro is that you cant just build all at once - you have to do it in stages. If we were able to build everything we could last season we would have had a full stadium for season 4 (I cried!). So the way you are sitting right now the max that you can build next off season is completing the upper bowl (which, btw, you already have the money to do). The 300 sections can not be completed until the entire 200 section is done (at least I think that the 200EZ section overlaps the 300 sideline...) and cant even be scheduled until that point either

Personally, I think that those who complete the stadium fastest will be in better shape financially in the long run.

We should make the money on ticket sales this season to pay for upgrades or very close to it. Then in Season 6 we'll have a completed stadium and be ahead of the curve.

We decided it was better to build the stadium and get the income rolling in than gain "+2 or +3" from EQ.

I agree with this statement, except I'm in a very good financial position to say it.

My stadium is as maxed out as I can get it, I still have about 8 million in tickets to sell, have already purchased the 300 level expansion for the offseason, all my seating from 100 and 200 level is purchased, I have 10 million in my equipment fund and 8 home games worth of concessions expected.

All with an additional 8m in cash on the team currently.

I'm just upset I wasn't able to expand into the 300 level last season. =/

I don't think any of us are trying to rip on you. I happen to want to see all the teams in the league strong both on the field and financially.

My opinion is you missed the boat by a season by not finishing the 2nd Level.

We sold $12,300,000 in tickets last night and have only sold one of our games out so far. We still have 10,000 2nd Level Corner seats left to sell for 6 of our games, 10,000 1st Level corner seats for 3 games, 7500 lower endzone seats for 4 games, 8400 lower 2nd Deck sideline seats for 5 games, and we haven't filled in the sections yet.

I'm guessing we'll sell close to $25,000,000 in tickets this season and the concessions will take care of our salaries.
