Sure you can mix Evan Williams, but it will still taste bad imo, compared to other brands at the same price.

I'm with seth on this, if you have to mix it or take is as a shot its all the same because you aren't really tasting the bourbon itself. Its just a way to ingest the alcohol.

Now to be fair my standards aren't all high that because Jack Daniels is my go to on a regular basis but I do keep nicer stuff for special occasions.

I usually don't.

A bar that we go to occasionally has what they call "Perfect Storm" shooters, with "Lucid® Absinthe, Bärenjäger® and a dark cloud of Jägermeister® " (copied from their site). Basically a strong double shot that's really interesting.

Edit: Also assuming we are calling shots and shooters the same thing, because most people do
