First, get more Toughness, Heart and Power skills.

xars you said yourself you havent been keeping up with the sim much this season so you really cannot comment on this issue.

for many people it is mostly build issues, but plenty of us who are active and competent agree there is an issue with morale this season since the changes. i stopped posting examples until after whatever hotfix is released, but the short version is that even with base intim and moderate to high toughness/heart/etc players on the OL are still deteriorating way too quickly due to most likely the base intim on several DL players stacking and wreaking havoc. very imbalanced and noticeable even a few plays into many games, especially vs CPU.

Power over 45, Balance over 45, Toughness over 50, Heart over 40. Morale is garbage.

Max toughness on all offensive players...now.

it's more noticeable against faster receivers. Apparently it's "balance", but quickness and sprinting aren't helping in recovery speed anymore. Also causes a hit with awareness, once the WRs are behind, the CB is too focused on recovering even if they're in a position to play the ball.

That's why it seems like there's a downtick in interceptions (even though there is an absurd amount of drops and random picks), because the CBs aren't playing as consistent as they're built to

this is a more part thing to me. i have seen some cbs get out of place but i think that it is still a build thing. CBs in real life would need to have good balance in real life to be good

See, I'm not the only one who thinks the interceptions rate is down.

more noticeable than the 4 ints that kept me in a game against the fastest 3 wrs on glb2? but ya its been pretty consistent to me from last season.

could be balance. but i used to put balance on my cbs when cdog mentioned way back when that they lost balance on these plays and i went to find out it ended up not really making all that much difference in coverage. maybe it is now with the changes? but then again my teams have all been the same in coverage from last season that i can see.

i have always put balance on mine too so i haven't noticed much difference for my cbs.

Same here....balance, quick and footwork are the most important skills in my zone defenders.

I used to, but then I stopped on my cover CB's and it seems that its worked out just fine. My run CB which is only a slightly different build from my regular CB's has 40 balance compared to the guys with 20 and doesn't seem to be doing much different in coverage. How high balance do you generally go?

if your whole CB core is pretty good then you won't be able to notice it enough, also i've noticed that the misplacement is pretty useful sometimes for getting picks if your CB actually registers that's the ball is in the air.

On Genesis I notice it at least once every half. We can usually easily play around it, but sometimes the one-on-one matchups get exploited too badly. That's what cost me the game with Death Valley (even though they're CB did the same thing on a short route with allowed me to score and take the lead anyways).

Overall it's not really life changing per say, it's just another skill that we have to put on the CBs which takes away from other useful skills. I guess in the end they just really want us to put points in more than just a few skills

then again i could look back at our game with bsb which i think was in the rain and find that we were abysmal in coverage which could be a balance issue?

not sure if it was a rain game tho. i cant see that on phone.

It was sunny. Your DE's were taking some wide routes to the QB. No pass rush whatsoever, so they just picked you apart. Over 8 yards per carry too.
