Bored? BORED?!?

I'll never be bored of showing everyone in GLB2 what time it is...

My HB is starting his Pro season. Currently looks like this:

Elusive Running 80 - capped
Carrying Awr 67 - capped
Balance 21 - will watch replays to see how much more he needs for the couple seconds after Spin fires
Footwork 81 - almost capped, will cap
Quickness 23 - will pump a lot more
Sprinting 40 - will just put any left over SP into this once Vet
Conditioning 94 - capped, will boost to 99
Heart 32 - almost capped, will cap
Gold Spin
Silver Juke - will take gold

Any Power? Curious what a Power/Elusive back built around Spin would do. It gives a boost to both rolls, so...maybe?

The thing I am testing is conditioning and secondaries on an elusive back (since we already know high conditioning at least works really well on a power back).

Can 99 conditioning make up for low sprinting, which is more expensive. Can high footwork make up for non 99 elusive running, which is more expensive.

Also, the footwork is also to help the Spin SA.

His games are all over the place right now. He will put up >6 YPC and >150 yards one game, then <3 YPC and <60 yards the next. But his build is only rounding out now.

During replays, he looks pretty deadly at times, but you have to take that with a grain of salt considering it is CPU PUPs. He does look very fast. But he is also reliant on great blocking and/or an SA to fire.

Yeah, I was thinking that too, but I don't have the SP for it really since not boosting. Also, my power cap is only 46. He breaks a fair amount of tackles without any power running. Not sure if the sim is counting jukes/spins though as broken.

So here are some highlights from his first Pro game. Still inconsistent. I think he needs more quickness, which I am working on.

Line:
91 plays, 24 rushes, 96 yards, 4 YPC, 2 rushing TD, 6 broken tackles, 0.2 YACon, 5 TFL, 0 fumbles, 6 targets, 1 reception, 36 yards, 30 YAC, 1 receiving TD, 2 drops [he has zero SP in receiving skills)

Good plays:

Interesting, it seems the speed of the spin is determined by footwork.

I've always really liked footwork on elusive backs, I think it's ultimately what really gets players around defenders more than elusive running can, interesting to see how it affects spin, I'd love to see some replays of the build at vet.

Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me

Here's my vet HB using spin with 50 footwork.

Although watching it a bunch I'm no longer sure if he's spining any faster or slower.

Maybe I've had too much beer.

It looks to me like it would help to tighten up the spin a bit and add more of a tackle breaking bonus to it. More times then not a spin usually still results in contact by the defender. The ball carrier is just barely out of reach.

Also for juke tighten it up a bit but allow more forward movement to get past the defender(like spin). This might help with the juking OOB crap that still happens from time to time.
