Ashland vs HAHA. On the surface I feel like Ashland has the better offense and I have the better defense. Ashland's blown some people out more than I have when I faced them, but they've also allowed more points than I have in any game yet. That's surprising given how they held PORN to only 20. You'd think their D would have more success against Colorado/Buffalo etc.

In that PORN Ashland game PORN scored all 20 points in the first half. Still don't know what happened in that second half.

Mostly having to do with me knowing PORN is a top 5 team while i really don't know who Colorado or Buffalo are and just throw in a blitz defense trying to put up sacks.

I don't post much but I have to say : thanks a lot for your write-ups jfbueno, they are entertaining to read and your analysis are spot on, keep them coming

This game against PORN is going to be ugly. I've been working on my defensive players' pass defense skills but I don't think they are to a point where it will really make much of a difference.

Why are teams spending so many points on run defense...when the run has been nerfed into oblivion?

Mannheim seems built to have ugly low scoring games, in all of Sophomore they're:

2nd fewest in offensive turnovers
Tied for 42nd in defensive turnovers
1st in defensive yards allowed
5th in defensive points allowed (probably due to lack of turnovers, two of the teams that allow fewer points have more than double the turnovers created that Mannheim does)

Sidenote, apparently Salty has faced the toughest schedule in Sophomore.

Didn't realize it till about 4 games into the season
