i could go along with buying different boots going forward... but a roll of Gorilla Tape would be much cheaper than buying new boots and tossing the existing boots out.

Lol scotch tape? You didnt think to use even duct tape?
They're nice boots and from two different makers--the seam is just thick and it grinds into my skin. I grabbed scotch tape because it was what I had at my desk. I'll get some gorilla tape and roll with that.
