Despite starting the season with over 700 participants, none were able to make it out of the regular season alive. Our final four participants all went down in week 15 on 3 different picks. Still, congratulations are in order to these final four who are the joint winners of season 18's World League Survivor. These four will split a massive prize.

Eliminated week 15 --- Losing Pick - 4 Participants
Dustin. -- Queen City Black Cats over Cagliari Outbreak
Mordaloch -- Mayan Prophecy over Monowi Wowi
risico -- Midwest Masterminds over District 9 Prawns
twong1987 -- Midwest Masterminds over District 9 Prawns

I'm fine with the four of you playing it out for the cash prize assuming that everyone is ok with it and Madcow DTD is ok with it. My suggestion would be to continue with the contest from here. Same rules, same slate of teams remaining, and count the most recent picks as unavailable, despite them not winning. For example, Dustin. can no longer pick Queen City to win. It sounds like two of the four have agreed to it, and based on Madcow's reaction to the tie, I'll bet he is ok with it.

I'll contact Mordaloch and tell him. Think he'll go along with it.

ok so as far as the reward points we split those now, but we continue to play for the $50 by paypal? if thats the case I'll bite call it a side tourney for the final $50 lol.

So just need Dustin and then these four can drop their week 16 pick in for the $50.

My only worry about letting the contest continue is that you suddenly have to worry about going down a slippery slope with your rules enforcement:

Which is the rule currently in place. This did not happen to me, but what about the individuals who were eliminated because of the following rule:

I don't like the idea of enforcing some rules strictly but then coming back later and making exceptions to others. I think some people who missed the deadline but picked before the sims started and were eliminated could make a valid case for why they were not given leniency in regards to the rules but others were. Again, this does not directly involve me nor am I disagreeing with how obnoxious it would be for Mad Cow to split the Paypal winnings, just my .02.

dude this is just for the $50 on paypal not the rest of the prize i don't see a problem with it but hey i'm fine with $12.50 if we don't keep going lol.

I have no problem with it. By all means continue on because I love checking in every other day with how things are progressing. But this is a site where people bitch and complain about GLB donating money to local peewee football leagues, let alone their possibilities of winning reward points to build players.I'm just pointing out something that probably needs to be considered for the future.

OK. The contest is officially over. Each has earned $12.50. Perhaps they would like to enter into a NEW contest, wherein they each put $12.50 into the pot and winner take all? They decide to continue playing as though this contest were continuing....but it isn't.

Problem solved (assuming they want to do this)

Or Madcow can stop being a lazy ass and just do it 4x
