Season 10 rookie was probably the toughest and deepest rookie class ever. It was a large rookie class with many excellent teams.

I wasn't around, but i think that we can judge better in the future, when we see how these rookies teams will do in higher leagues.

Black Mamba Update
Northland whipped up on Cyberninja and his Knights to stay tied for 1st in Alpha with Whoville, who keeps coming up with ways to win.

They soundly beat the Simpsons who are starting to implode. This once great organization needs to find an identity...and fast. Black Mamba is the deepest and most competitive league in rookie. They will be out of wildcard contention if they don't start winning soon.

I wouldn't call two FG's one with a second left in the game and a safety a whipping

True enough, the loss of teams just from rookie to sophomore is usually pretty heavy.

I think Galactic Empire was in that class. Was that the one with Porn?

I thought this was the S18 rookie thread? Shouldn't you have posted this in the S17 one?

Heh...it wasn't a whipping but it was a shutout.

I think there are several solid teams that will make it to Journeyman before they get tired of losing to the Run Stuffers and reset.

Hoping for some solid matchups in Sunday's ladder games. I crept up to 10 at one point today but am at 12 now. Looks like I'll have to wait one more week to crack the top 10.

Porn, Salty, EEA 2.0, Virgins, HAHA, No Name, Ashland, Omaha BEEF, Bloody Slaughterhouse, Sperm Whales, Mannheim, Ronin, South End, Arizona State, Fire Breathing Sharks, EZSB, etc...

Hands down the best imo.

Also so much forum activity for that tier. 200 pages strong and still going. It's currently the vet discussion one.

That class had a lot of reboots and second tries from team owners that had early season teams. It had Porn, EEA 2.0, Salty Runback (their reboot), Mysterio's reset of the Virgins, Bloody Slaughterhouse, Fairforever's No Name team, Absolute Zero's HAHA team, Duro's Omaha Beef team (with Bhall coordinating), Digital Dagger's Portland Ronin, and a number of other solid teams...and yes your team as well . GLB2 scout can show you the old power rankings and other stats for past seasons like that, like how my zero superstar unboosted Steamroller team led that season 10 rookie class in total defense yards and points allowed
