No. Low speed allowed me to go with INT.

Only played a couple of vet games.

ended with:
90 man aw
70 cov tech
35 def
90 int

66 consistency

85 footwork
43 quick
31 sprint
66 cond

14 interceptions from player creation to a few games into vet.

matching up at WR1 with a human is pretty rare
getting man defense calls against passing plays is pretty rare (I think 10 or fewer per game)

if those happen - getting targeted is pretty rare

burn tons of energy as you're put in on special teams -- and occasionally put in at full back (wtf)

Just wasn't worth it (even for free) to get only a tiny handful of plays that are interesting every game.

Hmm, well seeing how my pickup CB does against the run is part of it, so theoretically I'll have a much large sample size than you did.

Definitely true.

You'll be facing receiving WR's or CPU Wr's though -- so you still won't get to see yourself against a run blocking WR

tackle power doesn't seem to have a lot to do with forcing fumbles. I suspect it's the last ingredient in the equation. Like if everything else goes well, then check for fumble. I'd be willing to bet velocity has a lot to do with it, meaning a low speed bot like mine won't get a lot. I'm saving SPs right now to see if a massive influx of tackle tech will make a difference. The replays I have now all have the same build while saving up. Trying to establish a baseline for the Tech experiment.

power tackling build also didn't go as planned, but at least educational http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum/thread/5249416

how the fuck do you get away with that low of sprinting. that just seems absurdly low.

well - you can watch the games.

I made a post about it in this thread maybe that something seemed off.

I mean CBs should be as fast as the WRs they are covering. if not faster to close gaps.

Based on my HB, I'm not sure a HB needs to invest in Heart until Journeyman.

Well, if CPUs are allocating SP randomly, you'll probably face more WR there with some run blocking ability than most places.

Just had another 7 TD game...

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/247017/3484316

That one should be a Top Play tomorrow...sorry guys I can't help it!

Can someone compile my HBs career stats? I'm mobile only. I have to be in the lead. Everyone else has probably retired their initial PUP by now.

Yup. Corner's almost level 3. He's going for Silver Closing Speed first, curious to see if he can help make plays on off tackle or inside runs, or possibly even avoid the blocking WR altogether.
