conf is about to double, and we also get 5 more roster slots for morale reducing players such as intimidating line backers.

- removal of motivational speaker with this change would probably be perfect TBH

But let's say I have a morale reserve, right? If I play bad in the current system, I start dropping in performance, like I should. If I have a reserve, I may be able to play like shit for an entire half before I start to see the effects. I'm not liking that idea.

If I'd lose 60 morale in a normal game, going to 40, having a reserve of 35 and having the EXACT same reduction (60 morale), I'd be at what, 75 morale? 75 vs 40 for losing the exact same morale?

Unfortunately, it wouldn't work that well. If I do something stupid and lose morale, it drops my abilities, which then compounds and I perform worse. With a reserve, I'd fuck up over and over again, and still be at 100 morale because of my "reserve". Then, if I'm still at 100 morale, the chances of me fucking up again are lower than they would be if my morale was less than 100, am I right? So then, that 60 drop in morale might be reduced to a 30-40 drop, if not less. Then, my 35 reserve would allow me to stay at what, 95?

will suck to play glb without it, but with the player bank being able to bank (120) and the morale changes about to double it would really work itself out and sounds like we have a winner on all grounds with that

You'd really get rid of the perm bonuses? I can see getting rid of deterioration, but only having the temp bonuses means you have to worry about buying them constantly.

Valid points.

I certainly wouldn't want to get this prematurely implemented without thinking of the consequences because it's something I just thought about on the fly and is not well-thought out obviously.

Yeah, I like the Perm bonuses....and tbh I didnt mind deterioration.....but whatev makes the system work....Just would rather not see the day when a team has EVERY perm bonus bought.....they should have to work for it w/ Deterioration...but MINOR detail

The original plan's idea was to compare to other players at the same position in the league.
