Didn't read this whole thread, but there were a couple of misconceptions.

1) Knocked loose passes have ALWAYS been in this game. I see you saying they're additions Drago. No. They've always been there. You just couldn't see it before he added the text to the PBP. That's not to say the occurrence of them hasn't increased exponentially in recent seasons.
2) Catching has NOTHING to do with knocked loose. That's why it says "pass to ______ caught, knocked loose by _______". I'm convinced it's all carrying and strength. Is that the way it should be? Probably not.

I agree with the OP that WR should have a counter VA ability.

Now Ive had this problem a lot last year and I bitched about in a few threads, and everyone said raise this, or raise that. But to be successful you have to have so many stats at ridoulcous levels when all the d needs is 1 VA.

I totaly agree that Mr.Reliable should work on all downs.

Just for the record my TE has

all base stats
70+ str
70+ catch
60+ carry
50+ con
60+ vis
15 Mr. Reliable

And I had 10 drops in 57 catches last season.

Ok, I'm going to say that #1 is complete bullshit. It's the second time someone has said it, and it's incorrect.

This was the first game we played after the "stealth addition of May 14th", at least I think that was the date.

Of the SEVEN interceptions on that game, 5 were on knocked loose balls. Now... how come I never threw 5 INT's in a game before that? Nothing changed right, it was just "changed in the pbp"????

If you don't see that something WAS changed there, then your eyes aren't open.

In fact, this is so fucking right that Bort had to go back and change the knocked loose shit to make INT's a "non-factor" on those plays. He obviously threw something in that was different, and as typical as it is, didn't test it properly.
