Why hasn't this been fixed yet. It is a MAJOR flaw in game mechanics and rules. Also when you get a safety make sure the team that had the safety against them PUNTS the ball from the 20 not the 30 yard line.

I disagree this should NOT be changed. A free kick is more like a kickoff than a punt so unless Bort programs free kicks into the game, a kickoff is more appropriate and should not be changed.
