I'm still trying to get over Manchester running pretty much the same thing against us but you know what? I saw them do it on plenty of film and should have just put in a couple of packages against the Singleback formation to sell out to stop their run, at least on 1st down anyways.

Probably the only thing Kobenhavn could have done (had they known what PF was going to do) would be to implement some goalline D against that strong I 30% of the time and hope to at least slow it down. We did this early in the season against the Legionnaires when they were (literally)running rampant over everyone.

You know how it goes though, "Ifs and Buts, Candy and Nuts"

Shame that you would have to go so far as implementing a goalline defense to stop the run on GLB, though, and I definitely hope Bort works to fix it in the off-season.

goal line is not the answer to stopping that, tbh.

Yeah right...and where were those restrictions when WE played against them?? I'm telling you people Bort did some serious fucking around with the attribute effectiveness/rolls and probably increased the impact of confidence SIGNIFICANTLY right around that week 9 mark, and it has just started to get better the last 2 weeks.

EDIT: If I ever find him in real life I will probably have to punch him in the face on general principle.

Imagine it? I'm eagerly awaiting it next season when the SS Pressure out of Pro Set gets a buff and becomes unstoppable. I can't wait until Ingolstadt gets a chance to run it 80+ times.

unfortunately the most effective counter leaves you pretty vulnerable in other areas. and just think, we could bench our speed back in the playoffs since he wouldn't lose any xp and probably cut our number of punts from 4 to about 1

i guess it all depends on whether kobenhaven thinks we would consider an alpha championship and a guaranteed promotion a "must win game". hmm...

of course, we aren't looking past parma either.

after the luck we've had in the playoffs, i dont look past anyone.

I game plan for the CPU teams, tbh.

The only problem KH has lies with Lambda. PF did what they had to do. In there situation our team would have done the same thing, virtually any team in GLB would. You have to play to the game sometimes. I just love the irony that Lambda represents. All the shit he's spewed from his mouth this season about us, and now he's defending what his team did. It's a joke.
