I'm still trying to get over Manchester running pretty much the same thing against us but you know what? I saw them do it on plenty of film and should have just put in a couple of packages against the Singleback formation to sell out to stop their run, at least on 1st down anyways.
Probably the only thing Kobenhavn could have done (had they known what PF was going to do) would be to implement some goalline D against that strong I 30% of the time and hope to at least slow it down. We did this early in the season against the Legionnaires when they were (literally)running rampant over everyone.
You know how it goes though, "Ifs and Buts, Candy and Nuts"
Shame that you would have to go so far as implementing a goalline defense to stop the run on GLB, though, and I definitely hope Bort works to fix it in the off-season.
goal line is not the answer to stopping that, tbh.
