Vet skills have made CB's "Return Specialist" SA rather useless.. I mean, its okay, but speedy/agile WRs and HBs have a huge advantage.

There should be a reset of points put into Return Specialist.. OR.. a consolation prize of making Return Specialist also work on interception returns... or to give you ability to do Jukes, Head Fakes, etc.

Headline Maker (General)- Player makes sure the team gets it's publicity. Each level of this VA increases concession sales of jerseys and foam fingers by 1% each and makes tickets sell easier at higher prices. Fame required - 500-700 maybe a confidence requirement too


or if daily team merchandise like caps, jerseys, pendants, posters etc etc were added than it could be something like:

I'd like those, but we'd need something in place to keep teams from having EVERYBODY who meets the requirement maxing out that VA. That would almost be a requirement for most teams lol.

Training attribute VAs - This player has mastered focused training on a particular attribute. +.5% bonus in training a particular attribute for each lvl.

perhaps a 20% cap per team or something?

Gym Rat (General)
This player is an absolute BEAST in the Gym and when working out! Each level of Gym Rat adds a 3% chance that this player experiences a breakthrough when training on Normal and a 5% chance for a breakthrough when training on intense.

Known Psychopath
Everybody knows this player is not well--opposing players AND refs. This player adds +2% per point chance of any intimidation Special Abilities kicking in, but has a +1% per point chance of a penalty (if penalties will ever be more robust.)

Each level of Faking It increases the amount of time a defender is slowed by a fake by 2%.

Hulk (Offense)
This player's psyche is rather disturbing as he absolutely loves being hit and taking punishment. The harder he's hit, the more fired up he becomes. Each level of Hulk grants the player a +5% chance for a +15 morale and +15 energy increase each time he absorbs a Monster Hit, Big Hit, or Big Sack from a defender.

Requirements: 50 Stamina and 50 confidence

Bad Memory(General)
This player refuses to let a bad play effect him mentally. Each level of Bad Memory reduces the morale and energy effects of negative plays (ints, deflections, sacks, fumbles, missed tackles, catches against, pancakes, etc) by 5% when they happen to this player.

requirements: 40 confidence

Exploding Barrel: This player is a mean machine, when on at least 90% Power, this player gets 3% chance to knock down players with a lower strength level.

Clever Instincts: This player knows what he is doing on Special Teams, when playing PR/KR he will gain a 3% bonus to vision and a 2% bonus to speed.


Prerequisite: 60 Speed and 40 Vision

I definitely like road warrior. We've got hometown hero, why the hell not something for the road?


I disagree with road warrior myself. I'd like to see a home field advantage. We don't have one. But, at the very least there can be VA's (Hometown Hero currently being the only one, but there could be more) that are only good at home but never anything for the road.
