honestly you are probably lucky not to have wasted your ability points on many of the new sas. Most of them have been real misses besides the blitz one and maybe cover expert.

That's disappointing to hear. For pass-focused teams, the Slot Machine upgrade(now covers WR4/WR5) sounds useful, along with Quick hitter not reducing pass power(since separation is so slim now). In terms of 4wr/5WR sets and short passing, these could have impact. The sure-footed SA would also be interesting to see on multiple positions.

i forget slot machine since it was already useful. quick hitter doesnt seem hugely useful unless you can consistently hit your backs because most routes dont go under 6 yards.
sure footed fires a lot on a hb i seen but not sure its entirely more helpful than say mr reliable. fires a lot on cbs too. useless on the line.

Has there ever been an answer as to why full respecs aren't given/allowed?

They had a bad defensive gameplan... You know it, and I know it.
If they called specific plays on defense, they could have held us to ~40-45% passing
And I don't want to hear a thing about us modeling our pass heavy offense after sov/rob. We've been pass-centric since SEASON 2, which is I'm pretty sure before that team even existed. The only team you can say was really pass heavy before us was Zorp.

Especially when we actually use like 30+ different passing plays, not rotating the same 4 or 5 like some teams. Variance in the pass should provide more of a bonus than it does.

So when someone does have a good game plan you come straight here and say it happened again. You can't have it both ways.

Sunday Funday and OG GLB both started pass heavy from the beginning. But ya.

That's right... They were around too, but I think Zorp was the first really effective passing team. Our first win against them after their #1 tier finish is still one of my favorite accomplishments on the game.

So, passing still destroys teams that have a bad gameplan.
Glad we cleared that up!

So your argument is entirely that it doesn't do well against teams that plan against it?

My issue is the difference between a bad game plan/team and a good gameplan which can yield 30 to 40% completion percentage against a pass centric team
Read back a few pages
There's about two or three plays you can call on defense that will totally shut down the pass

So you think a one trick offense should do well against a good team that plans against them.
I mean, I don't really know what to say.
