OK, I'm probably over-simplifying it a bunch so I'll let AZ talk about FSMs Pass D in specifics. But Unguided Missle is destroying most Passing teams and he's not even a S* build.
you shut Hub down pretty well back in the day without any S*s on defense with Weihenstephan.

pretty sure GA forced his hand, we beat them up pretty good till just last season.

Look at SCO (WH-reboot). Can shut down running teams. Can only slow down Passing.

My previous SS was pure run, and yours is more pass focused. So I won't get the OOP penalty from playing a FS at SS. Although playtime will be a bit mixed until his chemistry gets up.

Biggest thing in a rematch with Logzilla would be trying to figure out how to not screw the pooch on offense. That was embarrassing.

No I built three Cover LBs. Could, maybe should, add that later though I'm going to max out the RO's speed.

dredgar is right. I've primarily played all Coverage so far.

3 coverage LBs is nice, curious what kind of schemes you're running with that though. Hub's down to 2 coverage LBs (had a superstar that didn't re-sign) and I'm kinda freaking out trying to figure out what to do against logzilla tomorrow.

SCO has 3 Cover LBs and 4 Cover CBs. Allows me to flip Nickel 3-3-5 Man Base with Dime 3-2-6 Man Base. That way at least my LB/CBs get a small rest against 95 play Pass opponents.

Of course I have virtually no O so I'm not sure I'll ever win a game against top teams because my O gets shut out with all my Salary Cap going to D. I lose a lot of games 7-0 and 10-0.

I thought running was so OP that you could easily invest nearly all salary in Defense without sacrificing your offense?
