I did open a support ticket for NEXT season. What's done is done for this season, not going to cry over spilled milk. However, I would like to see something put in place for next season. What I asked for is that any Gold team owner/co-owner can't own or be a coach on another Gold team. Basically Gold team owners get ONE shot at a Gold trophy, PERIOD!

What happened today proved your point to you and steve sanders.

So what is the real excuse?

Has a no/no ever won a conference championship in gold? DoRD prolly could have done it back in the day, but that was before gold, wasn't it? Then they boosted when gold started just to be on the safe side?

LSM won once when they boosted early in the season a while back, but as far as I know, no unboosted team has ever won a Gold title. I think SAS made it to the conference finals a couple seasons ago, but don't think an unboosted team has even made it to the championship game.

But what happened today just goes to prove my point that owners/coaches on Gold teams should be limited to one team only. RK has a really good recipe this season for winning, both of his Gold teams are in the conference finals, so hats off to him. But I also think that's hugely unfair as that gives an owner/coach twice as many chances to win Gold. Plus when you have a person like RK who is just dominating a season, he is doing it with two teams and is monopolizing the playoff spots.

Plus poor UT probably now has to face RK twice, first against TP in the Western Conference Finals, and again in the Championship game if UT beats TP and MG beats SBWL. Do you think for a second RK wont use the knowledge he gained from that game against UT in the championship game if they make it that far?

Don't get me wrong, I am not sore I lost, he beat me fair and square, so good job RK! I just don't like that he has 2 teams in Gold and thus allows him twice the chance to make it to the championship game. How fun will the championship game be if it's TP vs MG?!?

Yeah that is tough one. No question that TP is nothing more than a scout/practice team for Maine. And I don't really have a problem with that. Anyone can do it and do it for free as long as you have the Flex to front it. Since GLB doesn't really have a "practice" to test things on where you can control the variables this is good method to use. Just doesn't seem right to have that team take up a spot in Gold that another team/owner could have. So I think it would be better for the league to not allow it.

However there is nothing stopping Coor's from doing the same thing. How many teams does LE OC for? Z is the DC for PNP and SBWL. I am sure there are others. I don't think you can limit the Coor's from doing that. If someone wants to put in the time and effort to do all that, then they should be able to. It is a game after all.

Last but certainly not least. If Maine beats the Pimps in the finals (if both even make it there), then it will be because Maine deserves it. Not because of some advantage no matter how big or small from conference finals game. They have already proven it not once but twice this season by beating the Pimps. And quite frankly Maine is the best Pee Wee team right now no matter what happens in gold.

Hey, I say let people own/coach as many Gold teams as they want. I can't beat anyone in the playoffs so I personally do not care

Not to mention, if RK only had 1 team to gameplan for, can you imagine how hard he would kick the shit out of everyone this season?

GG, our game was interesting. My missed tackles and running around the ball carrier on defense along with my overthrows from the QB didn't help, but then again I was lucky on that long passing play and lucky that you didn't break more big plays to the HB. I hate to say it, but if I had won gold or even made it to the championship game, I would have probably actually requested demotion, but I can't go out like this after the Gamecocks had arguably their worst season since season 11.

14-2 and knocked off the #1 team to spoil an unbeaten season and only losing your other game by 1 point doesn't appear to be a bad season in my book. We just happen to have your number like Maine has ours this season. Some seasons are just weird like that.

Trust me, I know my team, was it a bad season for most people's standards, no. But for my team, I still think it was my worst team since season 11 because it was the most difficult and felt like the longest season to get through and I eventually just gave up on this season's sim after the coverage bug. I am basically just hoping it changes for next season although these are the times I wish they would announce the sim changes in advance.

Not many, basically only those who would have a shot at the gold title if they did fully boost/ceq, so takes a lot of talent to take a no-no team past the 1st round. The fact that RK got the #1 seed with a no-no team and then has made it to the finals shows he is really good this season.

Hell, my fully or near fully boosted team didn't make it past the 1st round my first 5 seasons in Gold, and I was knocked out in the 2nd round the past two. I just hope it doesn't take 3 more 2nd round knock outs before I get to the 3rd round...
