Capital Grille's 22 oz porcini rubbed delmonico with 15 year balsamic is pretty heavenly but the prosciutto wrapped hand pulled mozzarella stole the show last night. It was served with fresh balsamic soaked cherry tomatoes and some crusty cheese bread.

So good

Looking to trade my car in, wanted to get some opinions from you guys.

I prefer an SUV due to the shitty driving conditions and drivers around here. I also heavily prefer an AWD but I would take a 4WD. Hoping to get better gas mileage than my current ~17 with my 2002 Blazer, and finally I want decent crash test ratings.

I had been looking mainly at subarus, the forester in particular, but I found a 2007 Equinox that's really reasonably priced. Anyone driven one before? How's it handle in the snow?

And what vehicles do you guys recommend for driving in the snow and ice?

I have a friend with a Subaru Outback. 4 cylinder Good gas mileage, reliable and great in crappy weather
I know 2 people with Honda Pilots. V6 Gas mileage is OK, reliable and good in crappy weather
1 have a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. V6 gas mileage is meh. no problems and good in winter
A co-worker has a Nissan Rogue AWD and he really likes it

You should sell it instead of getting reamed with no lube by a dealer.

any front wheel drive with solid snow tires will perform almost as well as an awd or 4wd.
I sometimes feel better in my corolla with its solid snows than I do in my 4wd dakota

I'm also looking to trade in my car...but pretty set on a Tacoma.

rams subarus are pretty good in the snow...That's why you probably see them every where you go here in CO. Go test drive some.

If you're still paying on your loan I'd at least check with the dealership on what they're willing to do. If it's paid off then yeah I'd sell it

Only if they are adequately raping you on the car you are trading in for.

Yeah, I bought a car a couple of months ago and was pretty much just going through the motions with "what will you give me for mine" and their first offer was above Kelly Blue Book. And that's before we had even begun haggling on the new car, so it wasn't a deal of them padding one to subtract from the other. I ended up taking their offer because it was reasonable and kept me from having to advertise and show a car I was no longer interested in keeping.
