Not sure I'd call it a Hunger Games ripoff. It's also a movie adaptation of a book.

The book came out about a year after the first Hunger Games book. If the book didn't get sued, I doubt the movie based on the book is going to get sued.

Movie studios tend to be more aggressive about that sort of thing and it obviously looks incredibly similar, but kudos on not comprehending humor.

sounds bitter. The only bitterness involved comes from Deathblade and McBriar, both of whom are obviously still smarting over the many times I've made them feel stupid.
