yeah was a total shootout today, think that game showed that HBs can be just as overpowered as ever, just now need to tweak builds to compensate for the new changes. IMO all the changes just effect the roster depth, O-line, and defense.

I didn't rule out lucky RNG.

Team 1: 1/8 passing (2 drops)
Team 2: 1/12 passing (6 drops)

Dropping 2/3 isn't that terrible for first game of rookie, but dropping 6/7 is just dumb imo. All 6 drops on team 2 came from guys that have all boosted and only spent points on hands/rec con/conditioning.

Yep, consistency kills lower tier teams who can't get 70+ levels yet. 90% of Rookie teams threw for around 20-30% completions. Once weather gets tough.....lol.

I will say that receivers are more fluid and realistic with the shift to quickness for acceleration. Its just that consistency doesn't scale passing/catching well at low tiers.

Yeah, it's sad because some of the changes were good, but this last minute jam things in attitude from the devs means they weren't properly tested as a system, so they've screwed up lower tiers to fix Pro/Vet rushing and borted passing on accident.

So rookie probably needs another passing boost...or you know, maybe just get rid of rookie all together? Maybe? MAYBE?!?

and fix Vet passing

Conditioning didn't really hurt the meta power backs much at all and passing took a hit with the patch and doesn't seem as effective.

Ya I'm not a fan of what the lower tiers look like anymore sim-wise. I'm gonna stop caring about them like glb1 if it is gonna be like this.

I know if I can't pass effectively in vet, I don't even stand a chance to keep up with the Meta HB's scoring constantly. It's going to be a lousy long season.

Oh well, at least I took my team all the way to vet and didn't reset, even if its been rough as hell playing these guys for the past few seasons, lol.
