If chemistry stays the way it is now I am going to struggle to be top 10 with DA. I guess that's the price I pay for keeping my team at vet and continuing the careers of many players

chem needs to get fixed, i remember when MMA had 24 new players all at 50% chem, took until about game 23 to hit 100 chem. even worse is the players who have their team fold/reset and then have to tank 75% of the next season on a new team. good thing this game benefits people who career boost and keep their players and teams around! lol...

At least from the responses we all know now that the intent is to have max 4 seasons at vet then reset. No point trying to stay at vet for longer than that.

On a more positive note - the 3 most interesting storylines to me of Vet:

1) DA/Madison/Whoville reloading - 3 of the top 4 at the end of last season (the other one, Richmond, reset) - all three are going through some major roster overhaul this season. DA started off their scrims losing to a team that they would normally beat by 50 or 60 points. It looks like a rough start. They did pick up Tachylon, the star back from Richmond, and Unguided Missile, so at least there were some positives from the offseason.

Meanwhile, Madison can't even get to that part yet - they are short some O-linemen. Madison did re-load with two more S* WRs, and a new S* TE (can stop blaming Clay now...). We'll see if they can get off to a strong start.

Whoville is short some WRs, as well as a TE and some O-linemen. They do get their back, Tortoise, for another season, which is a huge boost to them.

My guess - none of the three do better than 7-3 in the first 10 games of the season. Not that 9-3 is bad. But it's definitely underachieving compared to what they normally get.

2) GA reloading - I had to put this one separately. 18 players hit legend. One went inactive. That left 18 players left on their roster, less than half of what they had. No indication GA was doing any kind of re-load - they could've extended another Vet season with minimal replacement. But now Galithor and USC are required to figure things out and put the pieces together. This could be a rough season for them. I'll take a guess that they won't be in the Top 10 this season.

3) Bronx - Two undefeated seasons in a row. No one else even has one. Can they do it a third time? Probably not in a Vet league. But that doesn't make them any less interesting, nor does it preclude them from being the favourites in the tier. DA, Whoville, and Madison are all reeling from big changes. MEM is still strong - but they lost to a Bronx with 19k less SP per player. Who's going to prevent them from getting Ladder #1?

GA got a new All-Star powerback.

Wouldn't shock me at all if Bronx went 30-0 again. Pretty confident they'll at least be the favorite in every game.

Whoville managed to finish fourth with a completely new roster. Chill out.

Whoville isn't really reloading. We did that last season and started worse than 7-3 because of it. We lost three players I think to legend. No big deal.

I don't want to chill out. I want to be angry.

So little good builds out there to recruit, we've resorted to getting some Pros on offense and defense... not ideal, but you gotta do what you gotta do

good pro builds > bad vet builds

Yes. Starring Peeti, Cuivienen and Madcow.

But the troll of the season goes to.......

Peeti!

That makes it 6 seasons in a row.
