It's not so much having trouble getting out of it, it's the fact that sometimes I'm on the opposite side of the level and have to get back on D, and I'm half dead from hitting the ground in the first place, so I just finish the job off to spawn closer to my goal.

I just started playing this yesterday and expected to get my ass handed to me. But somehow I ended up with a positive K/D ratio even with screwing around with some new planes when I unlocked them. A prodigy is born?
