In these cases his speed (or lack thereof) seem to be the problem. not enough separation.

I love this sentence. To negate getting balls knocked loose you have to pump up things that dont help you create separation which ultimately detracts from things that create separation. Sounds like a downward spiral of terrible.

I wouldn't say speed is the problem. It is the route. He is running into a cushion, and the CB is in the perfect coverage. Both have more than enough speed to get to the spot. Coordinators have to give the receiver a chance to get open.

Hmmm what would the numbers look like to create separation from 90/90 speed/agility CBs?

That's a problem with the game, not the offensive coordinators. Most WRs in any level of the game IRL would recognize where they need to go to get open and would somewhat branch away from their route to get their, in this game you run your route no matter what.

Depends on the coverage and the route. If you look at peewee players, there is obviously a base speed of every player. If both players are running to the same spot, it is unlikely you will ever have enough speed to overtake a CB. You have to depend on a corner reacting slowly to get behind him on a streak route. Run posts, slants, ins and outs. Give him a chance to get separation.

It's as simple as this.. Defenders started re-focusing on str to combat power backs. And now we're seeing it spill over to knocked loose passes. plus there are only like 4 VAs that are even all that great for a LB and one of them is at the heart of this issue.. So no surprise really.

the guy has 90 catch, which means not so much speed. If he has high agility, he shouldn't be running a streak. The 1st example I posted was just a quick pass so all that mattered was the CB read it fast.

WRs don't have great VAs either, imo

i think the problem is he's a WR that should never be running that type of route but that route is fine for other receivers.

I agree. If you are going to run a streak, put a WR that is a speed build. If you are going to run over the middle, better toughen up the WR you are going to use.
