Defensive VA suggestion: THE ANGLE - each level of this ability has a 5% chance of a DB finding the perfect angle to prevent a touchdown.

Offensive VA suggestion: PERFECT TIMING - the QB and WR are in such perfect sync that they can hook up on a timing pattern for huge gain.

The problem with both of these are that there is a skill involved with finding the right angle. The code automatically gives you the right angle, from what I've read, but your agility and vision, along with your speed, determine whether you'll be able to take it, or get there

On offense, there is no "timing" coded into the offense. The QB simply throws it to the receiver with the lowest risk rating, from what I understand.

On Fire VA - Earn additional .1% increase to main attribute for being on a roll. Example 3 catches, complete 5 passes, 2 field goals, 2 corner punts, etc... and the bonus stays active untill you miss...

I don't know exact wording but I think you guys get my idea...

Hmm... an interesting concept, but the requirements seem to be somewhat hard to meet (completing 5 passes in a row could be a challenge if QBs are averaging about 57-58% completion). I understand that the point of the VA is to reward players who play well consistenly, but what's the point of sinking 10-15 VP into a skill if it only works 2-3 times a season, and only for 2-3 plays when it does work?

Honestly, Ive built up my SP VAs to 15s, but they kind of defeat the purpose. I'd like to see them altered some way, maybe cut in half.

I think alot of the action VAs need a bump up. Things like Jump The Snap actually meaning you'll get a nice Jump On The Snap. If it's maxed at 15 compared to someone who just has high vision, it doesn't really give you an edge.

That's what Bort is working on for this off-season, he's said that he's boosting the non-attribute VAs, and will likely cut the atribute VAs in half, make them situational, or remove them entirely.

Home Wrecker - This defender loves playing at home and feeds off the crowd. Each level gives a +3% chance that Big Hit, Big Sack, or Monster Hit VA's will activate when playing at home.

Nice. That sounds like an excellent idea for a new VA.

I think I read somewhere that the current intense combos are the only ones Bort wants. Obviously, having ALL combinations available isn't the greatest idea, as that would reduce quite a bit of strategy. Plus, things like Speed/Blocking don't really make sense. Blocking is mainly working on technique or sleds, etc., while speed is sprint work of some sort. Tough to mix the two

I do agree, though, that there should be SOME additions to the intense combos, but I like the ones we have now. VAs, though, should constantly be tweaked and updated until we get a final product.


I'll CONSIDER to the team captain one, although I'm not really looking to have Bort add an entirely new "feature" just yet. Just tweak/add VAs

Because Bort fucked the attribute VA's I have an idea to help the Speed RB's of the world who have no VA's for them to use.

"Turn the Corner"

+1% to Speed and Agility when the Runningback is running behind the line towards the sideline. Prerequisite: 60 Speed, 60 Agility.

The idea is to give Speed RB's a boost to help them get outside and around the defense, but then have it shut down when they get beyond the LOS and start running towards the endzone.

I like that. One thing you can use, is Scat Back, but that only helps on passing plays.

Should it be worded:

"Each level of Turn the Corner gives a +1% bonus to speed and agility when the player is rushing outside, while still behind the line of scrimmage" ?

Sounds fine to me. As long as it offers Speed RBs some help it's good. Cause right now, 0 VA's are geared towards Speed RB's. All are elusive, pass catching, and power backs.

Road Warrior= This player is the opposite of most players and does a great job on the road with screaming fans in his ear. He recieves a 2% bonus to awareness and confidence in the first half and when the game is in critical situations (less than 7 points between opponents, last 2 minutes, 3rd down, 4th down)
