Why do people about to be beheaded read/recite the anti-american sentiments they're told to? I mean you're about to be beheaded anyway, it's not like you can really be punished. I havent been in that situation obviously so maybe there's more to it but I'm not trying to advance the message of the people about to kill me.

Having your head cut off with a knife is not dying easily. Supposedly these groups do mock executions a lot, so I'm guessing the prisoners don't think they're actually being killed until they are.

Also who here has been a groomsman? What the fuck am I supposed to do? Do I buy stuff are a bride and groom registered or is that for baby showers? Do I wear some random tux I already had? Do they rent a tux for me that matches? I wasn't planning on doing this shit till my mid-late 20s

the bride and groom will pick out tuxes. you just have to go to a fitting at the tux rental place they choose a couple of weeks beforehand (oh, and shell out the money for the rental, which always kind of pissed me off...'hey, buddy, wanna be in my wedding? well, it'll cost ya....')
other than that, as far as gifts go, it's no different than any other wedding.
just make sure that whatever stripper is hired for the bach party doesn't have a smelly ass.
