Jennifer Lawrence, for example, all dressed and glamoured up looks like some alien race that is too beautiful to touch. And I guess while this sounds insensitive to gross violation of privacy, it's not really. It's really disappointing that people do that shit. I'm a nobody and I don't even put stuff online for that reason. Granted, I have moderate privacy issues.
However, humanizing people makes their work seem a lot more impressive to me. Doing what they do with above average equipment is a lot bigger feat than with superhuman tools. Though, I guess there's ways of that happening without privacy violations. Natalie Portman's rap with Lonely Island was awesome for shattering that surreal glamour. But it is what it is. I'll still probably go see the next Hunger Games.
