As for the antenna option... What's the difference between streaming for free and using the antenna? I'm watching the same commercials.

ah, okay, I see what you're saying now.

They used to blackout local games here unless the tickets were 80% sold. Now they don't blackout any games.

No that's not true. Online services that stream live nfl games in the USA are required by the contact the nfl has with TV networks to black out the local games.

That's for airing it on TV. Online streaming services like Sunday ticket have to black out the streams for local teams. It's the contract they have with TV networks. They want to require them to but TV packages.

Np. That's why I said I'd gladly buy Sunday ticket online service but it won't let me watch the 1 game I want to see.

I refuse to buy a cable subscription. I don't watch anything on TV anymore it's mostly garbage. I canceled cable 6 months ago. I only want to pay someone to watch Patriots games online and that option doesn't legally exist anymore.

just moved into a new place. moved in with the fiance, and she doesn't want to spend any money on cable. can't say I disagree. so I was in lowes and bought a $10 antenna, tried it out last night. cbs, nbc, and abc come in like a dream, so there are only 3 pats games I won't get to see. score.

I may look into that. But what's the difference between that and using an illegal stream to watch the same channel and commercials then? What am I really stealing?

I live in a small town. I don't wanna drive a half hr to get to a nice sports bar. I enjoy watching sports at home with my son around.
