Pretty crazy to get 11 STOP's, at least 7 CB's, and still have a decent offense to compete with scoring as much as they do.

Or at least if a team decides to carry 2 return men they probably could be getting some ST TDs in the 2nd half maybe

Or just score even more points than jam. Their defensive players rolling with shitty energy too and Alpine running the ball on occasion against winded defensive players actually kept the WRs sorta fresh. Actually, the offense didn't really end with that low energy tbh without having 10wrs. The only people who were low were lineman who also play ST but even they weren't that low. The lowest person on the team was the dedicated STOP


Again, people overreacting a bit. The ST energy problem has been bitched about since like season 3 or 4 whenever people first realized how tiring it was and the pick 6 thing as soon as we saw bars a season or two ago. Bort/Catch are super slow though and probably had this on their radar but were just gonna let us waste a few seasons without actually making some easy changes.

But when jam arcade beats the hali/mastermind/whores stretch or something then let's pick the thread backup. It's a shame Alpine-Blaze isn't getting more hype but then again, i don't think either team is all that worried about it compared to a potential playoff matchup. Though to be fair, looking at the schedule, jam arcade could be 6-1 going into the whores game unless the smurfs turn things back around

Personally, it doesn't matter whether the Jam gets beat every game or goes on a 15 game win streaky now. Neither changes my opinion on any of this. Just the fact that any team can pass every single play or run every single play and be competitive in a game, it just leaves an extremely sour taste in my mouth. It's nothing that Dp did wrong. I'll admit that I discussed doing something similar in ssn 12, ultimately deciding against it because I refused to believe GLB wouldn't kill the idea and because it wouldn't be any fun for me even if they didn't. Ppl like Dp seem to enjoy GLB by trying to get any advantage they can, regardless of how or what it is. That appears to be his source of enjoyment, Ppl like me enjoy GLB for the FB strategy. Neither is "wrong." I just don't want to play anymore this can happen and be considered any kind of a legit team....It'd steal the fun for me

The thing is that some people will always try to find weaknesses in a sim like this, then try to figure out how to take advantage of it. It is pretty much human nature to do so. People get competitive and wants to try to win so most teams ends up doing it and in a game like this with dots, not real people, there will be weaknesses in the sim to take advantage of no matter what Bort does. He does what he can to "fix" the sim but pretty much every change he makes to fix the sim just ends up opening another hole people can take advantage of.

I enjoy competing against 100's of people in the game of football, and trying to be the best at this game. I don't need to lobby to bort to win games, and you maximize every advantage you can the only difference is your not as good at this game as me.

A) You lobby 24/7. Well over 1/2 the threads you make are in an attempt to do nothing more than promote an agenda for your team. The vast majority of any post you make in sim specific related threads is to do the same thing. You used to PM me every time you wanted the game to go in a certain direction. Of course, if it looked like it would go a direction that wouldn't help you, that "will kill the game" was sure to appear in one of the threads. How many PMs to Catch trying to push him to go one way or another have you sent? I know you have mentioned in PMs to me that you have at least 6 times, and those were just off hand mentions. You really don't want to go there.

B) Yes, everyone tries to get advantages and, so long as it's within the rules, it is acceptable. There are many ways I try to gain advantages as well. That said, I don't want to play a game where you can run Islam 70 times for the win. So, in the ssn of Islam, I didn't, even in the POs. That was my choice. Sorry that my feeling that a game like that is no fun FOR ME bugs you so much. If that threatens you in some way, your problem, not mine.

C) No where ITT have I said you did anything wrong once, yet you lash out because everyone should want to play the game the way you want it played and I don't see it that way. I don't want to play it your way. You don't want to play it mine, yet, if anything, I defended you as not being a cheater....And you are too insecure to not take the easy way of trying to attack me?

I don't hate Dp....Hell, I caught a ton of shit for having one of his dots on my team and still kept him there. He GMed me on NBA Jam, just so I could show him how to get YourMomsBox the ball more.
