I would also ask that if this were to be done, that the Vet points could be reset, so people could take advantage of them (particularly Slow Starter).
For Hometown Hero, just make it +1 per point when playing at home, take away the -0.5 when playing away. This could also be used in the playoffs if it's a home game. The -0.5 when playing away makes it basically useless; I would rather use Swagger as of right now. Heart of Champion would be bumped up to +1.5 per level for Confidence AND Stamina in the playoffs, because of the limited usefulness of this VA at the moment.
For Slow Starter, in the first 4 regular season games it would be -0.33% per level (which would make it -5 at 15). From games 9-12, it would be +0.33% per level (so +5 at 15). From games 13-16, it would be +0.66% per level (so +10 at 15). In the playoffs, it would be +1% per level (so +15 at 15). This would lessen the impact in the first 4 games when you only have 1-2 points in it. It extends the bonus to 8 games instead of 4, so you get a little more usefulness for it, and because it would work during the playoffs, you could easily see some more 8-1 and 7-2 upsets (parity is good!).
I like the hometown hero and the slow starter ideas. I don't understand why you have to take a hit when you play away from home? It's the same as if you have +1.5 at home and -0.5 away. The slow starter one is REALLY cool methinks.

Play Recognition on defense.
Maybe 1% increase on all attributes.
In plays that are ran 10+ a game.

That shouldn't be a VA, it should be automaticly put into there.

Call this jamming... bump and run is a WR thing and is illegal.... Hmmm.. I am too old. Apparently, bump and run has been illegal so long that "bump and run" now applies to the defensive coverage. I stand corrected..
But I think this is VERY IMPORTANT given the implementation of hitting WRs in stride. Make the WR have to suffer a STR and BLK check at the LOS for CBs using jamming on the WR. Make them spend some points in STR that they have been using for speed. Make CBs wanting to use this have more STR than the WR.
If not a vet skill, make it one of the CB SAs.

I'd be game for either one, actually.

TD Celebration: After a player scores a touchdown, the team receives a morale boost. Increased level of this VA will result in an increase to the bonus to team morale.

I'm assuming there is already a morale boost for TDs, and this would happen, what, once a game? Until Bort says that TDs don't give morale boosts, I'm not sure I like this idea.

If there were or weren't. The TD Celebration VA would increase the boost. And if playing at home, increase the effectiveness of homefield advantage. Or the opposite, if playing away, decrease the effectiveness of homefield advantage.

Flesh it out a bit more and we'll talk. As of right now it's too vague.
So the player raises the morale on a TD. On a long run/pass, I can see that. On a 1yd TD run, not so sure about that. Especially if it was a long drive, or if the game was out of hand.

Please stop hocking your TD celebration idea everywhere, they're dots, how could you tell they were doing a celebration anyway?
I would bet you that if this somehow did become a VA, 99.999% of GLBers would ignore it. Not due to any fault of the idea, but just because It wouldn't fire enough to be worth it unless one person scores a majority of the TDs.

prerequisite for VA's. If you put points to a certain VA then you cant put points to another.
Just examples and not the exact ones:
prerequisite for track star is you cant have any in quick
prerequisite for quick is you cant have any in track star
prerequisite for jumping is no catching...

No, that's something I refuse to support. You should be allowed to pick ANY VA that you want. ANY.

Those kinds of prereqs where you can't take a different VA are a terrible idea. A prereq where you might need 5 or so in an attribute VA to unlock another VA (say, 5 in Workout Warrior to unlock Bruiser) might be interesting, but since Bort is nerfing attribute VAs it's probably a bad idea now.
