Most people in retail settings just quit, they don't give two weeks. It's just a "your problem, not mine" situation where people don't have the courtesy to give a proper 2 weeks.

I wanted to. Like REALLY wanted to. But they only have me as a stocker (even though I do more register and theft prevention than stocking, one of the reasons Im quitting), and if I quit, they might have to close. The owner has a new daughter, so I'm trying not to be too much of a dick

in many of those cases, though, it's also related to how the business treats employees, too. if a business isn't treating the employees with a lot of respect, and many retail businesses do not, then they shouldn't expect much courtesy and/or respect in turn

How does the situation come about where a liquor store customer is having you take a swig from his newly purchased bottle?

I hate the fact that I have to drive past Taco Bell on my way home from work. If its been a rough day I am pretty much guaranteed to stop there. Really hurts the weight loss plan.
