I'm looking at the ladder rankings for rookie and this might be one of the deepest rookie classes ever. Not very top heavy as far as over loaded S* teams, but there are several solid teams.

gotta find some way to justify a 4-2-1 start

Rookie classes typically look pretty decent to start. Tiers thin out really quick these days though unfortunately... I used to love the quality at the top of the current seasoned tier but there simply are not enough teams and some of the quality teams have already crumbled...

Current JMan is still pretty solid. Current Soph could wind up the same. Time will tell how much the Facebook stuff helps.

I hear you Absolut. I really do hope the game gets a needed shot in the arm. There is nothing like it available elsewhere IMO as where is player building combined with team game planning/management here. I feel that the past couple of off seasons have received some quality attention from the devs as well. Really miss the amount of activity that we had 10 seasons ago...

JFBueno's Rankings and Matchup Predictions were really nice for the tier that he was in, PORN's old tier. That tier was gigantic, in large part due to heavy community involvement. It takes a few people to start talking and put in work.

Week 4 - Top 10 Ladder Match Ups

#################################################################################

Vape Nation Football(1) vs Cambridge Knights(8)
Cambridge has been playing above expectations. An easy schedule coupled with a decent coaching staff has them at 5-1-1. Can they pull off the biggest upset to date in Rookie?

The only undefeated team left in rookie is Vape Nation. Their defense is like the 85 Bears, giving up only 13 total points in 7 games. How long can they stay undefeated?

Prediction: Vape Nation stays undefeated at least one more week as they crush the Knights of Cambridge.

#################################################################################

Average Joes(2) vs Atlantic City Hookers(14)
Average Joes are turning into the Awesome Joes. Riding a 4 games winning streak, their defense has been lights out, not giving up more than 10 points all season.

The Hookers are coming off a heart breaking loss to Kiwi and look to right the ship. Thier S* laden offense is starting to put it together, scoring 20 or more points in 6 of 7 games this season. Can the offense stay on fire vs the stingy Joes defense?

Upset Alert!!!
Prediction: Look for the Hookers S* Tight Ends to find the endzone several times. Average Joes get worked by the Hookers.

#################################################################################

Game of the Week!!!
Central Falcons(3) vs The Jedi Order(5)

The Central Falcons just won't lose. This CPU, AWOL litered roster keeps finding ways to win. The defense has been very good in recent weeks, but their opponent tomorrow will not be easily stopped.

The Jedi Order's Jedis are starting to reach their potential. They are figuring out the ways of the force and when they do, they will be almost impossible to stop. The defense is like a brick wall and the offense can run over or around any team.

Upset Alert!!!
Prediction: This won't be pretty. Jedi destroys the Falcons by 30
.

#################################################################################

Winchester Rebels(4) vs Colorado Springs Miners(10)
Offense, defense, Special Teams, coaching...the Rebels have it all. They have also held their oppoenents to under 14 points this season.

The Miners are a feel good story. Newb owner, one man team, great defense, giving up no more than 12 points all season....but they have a sputtering offense.

Prediction: Feel good story comes to an end. Rebels with a shutout victory.

#################################################################################

San Diego Bolts(6) vs New Jersey Devils(7)
Hey, it's Cyberninja...again. How many teams do you have? Anyway, the Devils have cheated fate with an easy schedule, but as you win, you inevidibly have to face tougher competition. They are coming off a 10-2 victory over the Lake Worth Snappers....just think about that for a second.

The Bolts are coming off their 1st loss of the season and are pissed. The Average Joes held them to 7 points last game. Although, looking at their schedule, their offense has been ugly all season long. Can the Devils pull off the upset?

Prediction: Bolts win an ugly, low scoring game.

#################################################################################

The Ravens of Windy City(9) vs Odessa Roar(13)
The Ravens have won the games they should and lost close games to Vape Nation and the Bolts. They are well coached and have a solid team.

The Roar have been up and down, with some good wins and a couple of boarderline blowout loses. Which Roar will show up?

Prediction: The Ravens take care of business in a close game.

Going to watch Joes closely, if we play in the future it will be a fun game. Windy City is also strong, the losses were very close against top teams.

Just outside the top 10, #12 Fury faced off against the #11 Miami Dolphins. Miami's QB, Reed Potts, came to play...rushing for 220 yards and 2 TDs on just 16 carries. Fury, on the other hand, relied on a more traditional offense with their HB going for just under 200 yards on 43 carries.

Both teams featured a putrid passing attack with Potts going 8 for 28 for just 48 yards and Fury's QB managing only 9 for 29 for 74 yards. In fact, Fury was only 5 for 21 going into their final drive. Something in that drive clicked, though. On 3rd and 3 with 2:19 to go, TE Justin Ayala hauled in a 10 yard catch to keep the drive alive. Then, just a few plays later on 4th an 10...

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/323523/1027563

Ayala pulled off an amazing jumping catch for a 17 yard catch and a 1st down. This catch broke the spirit of the Dolphins D and Fury completed a 9 yard TD pass to WR2 Even Piell for the go-ahead TD.

The Dolphins offense wasn't done. They drove the field but their 43 yard FG attempt was no good, allowing Fury to steal the game.

Well played, Miami!
