Also Ge has a terrible track record, his last two teams were mediocre. His current team is merely riding on the success of inexperienced coaches who have no idea how to stop a rushing qb (rushing qbs have mostly been extinct for a few seasons but the pitch changes seem to have brought them back). Anytime hes bumped into experienced dcs his offense has fallen flat and lost.

You get shit because when you lose you make a ton of excuses or throw other coaches under the bus.

When a defense gives up more than the league average do you place the failure on the offensive coordinator or the defensive coordinator? Though that's off topic. The post was a reply to no one giving ge credit for what the poster felt was a good record. My post brought light to the fact despite my accomplishments being top caliber only a handful will acknowledge it so it wasn't just GE. To further the point I explained why GE isn't getting credit.

agerm: I like GE. He is good for the game and great for the forums. I wish he was 26-0 right now because GLB2 would be a more fun place.

What I don't like is when he (or others) state their opinions and beliefs about builds and the game as if they are fact. I think it does a disservice to any new players who might be reading the boards. Maybe it is just the a-hole in me -- but if he'd even say "I think" or "My opinion is" or something...that would be fine...but he doesn't -- he regularly says "Footwork is critical for halfbacks" and other garbage as if it were true.

The rest of the back and forth is just fun. If we're not flaming each other on these boards...there aren't any posts!

That might be how you take it, but it's not true. If you come on here and tell everyone you are one of the best coaches in the game you are going to get shit, it's no different than real life. If you are a douche bag, people treat you like a douche bag. It doesn't matter if another coordinator blows a game for your team, you don't throw him under the bus. You should be doing the opposite and try to take some heat off the guy.
