Yea, I dont see how this is going to hurt passing at all. I just ran a Zone Cover 2 test with no INTs, running a Cover 4 test now to see if I can bait the QB to throw the ball a little deeper to see what it looks like.

I'd think a Cover 4 test would push QBs to throw more underneath stuff on 1st and 2nd down.

That expectation is precisely why I want to build a defense one day centered around Cover 4 usage.

I'm using cover 4 a bunch now.

It's a public scrim, I ran some yesterday and the QB would throw it deep a lot of time with TE Drive. I'll try to post some highlights when its over.

That's interesting since TE Drive really runs right into the teeth of Cover 4 pretty consistently

It didn't seem like a nerf in my SCO vs. PORN game. Open public scrim.

Passing seems the same as last season. My pass heavy soph team (highest team I have) is passing at the rate rate as last season. No real changes in my scrims thus far.

If I'm reading Bort's change right, none of these are relevant examples.

I'm curious if this means maximum pass distance at normal vertical levels (throwing on a rope), or maximum when lofting it?

Going through it, not really seeing many relevant plays.

Most likely relevant plays:
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/199519/2977168 (seems short and to the left of where a more accurate throw would be)
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/199519/2977491 (the underthrown aspect at least let's the corner make a jumping attempt to deflect it)

Maybe, though I'd guess the change doesn't affect this one:
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/199519/2977246 (seems about normal)

3rd link should have been a INT (ok maybe not a guarantee).

Deep passes at the edge of a QBs Power should be inaccurate enough that double coverage on the WR leads to a pick.

High Power QBs throwing 10-15 yards shouldn't be pick magnets, but once your 25+ yards downfield that inaccuracy radius should expand enough so that double coverage leads to a bunch of picks. From the pocket, that's a 27 yard throw from a Seasoned QB. I'm curious what the Pass Power rating is on him.

Problem is how many players have actually put a large amount of SP into the Interception skill? I imagine most players at the Seasoned level haven't put a point into it. At Vet, you see some builds with 25-30 interception, but if it's anything like receiving hands/CiT, shouldn't it be more like 70?
