GG Chiefs - the disturbing thing about the game was the mini helmet I used and still got smacked around 45-28. Tough to game plan against as I couldn't figure out should it be death by pass or run so I split the difference and got it both ways (calm down people - "that's what she said" - figured I'd ruin someones comedy for the night).

Yeah Thanks meat, He may have won it, but not against someone who knew D. I don't know how things have changed , but I assure you RQB is dead in casual. Unwinnable. It's Very discouraging when you play every card right and still have no chance. We got crushed by a last place team that played the trump card and any other team run by LT 56 or smart enough to follow a simple plan, (: I'm here to win and I don't like zero probability games. I have to take my ball, cry waaaa a little, and move to another playing field that hopefully is fairer and not ruled by 1.

Well apparently when your DC just takes the week off or something you get what we had tonight.

It's kinda funny how in all that I got totally spanked by the very offense I was just discussing with ya. I might just have to suspend all future "help" from my teams as the results this season have been abjectly inexcusable. I may not be very damned good at doing the AI's, but that was pure and simply a not even showing up right there. Sorry I skewed your stats wrong like that ray.

Damn Elements - you're 7-8 and lost five of those games by 10 or less (three by seven or less). I'm not sure how much more competitive you could be - your right there. I'd have been curious if you'd use the wildcat (probably need a few more WR's) but still I think you've done well this season. Leggs in the decline and you can see the difference between the two (in our game Zurg with 18-203.5 and Leggs with 13-14.5 - you only play Zurg and you probably beat me going away although I'll say I got pretty lucky to even get that W). Probably like that in a few other games as well (didn't check just a hunch).

Honestly surprised me too. Was the most complete balanced attack we have had all season.

Unfortunately the wildcat, even with great dots is a lousy playbook. Yeah, we won a few, but unfortunately even the butte pirates can beat us. It doesn't take a good team, only the right defensive call and we have ZERO chance.
RQB is doomed to failure in casual. The casual playbooks have qb rushing and passing intertwined in each playbook , so the wrong qb is in freqently =BAD . Therefore you must choose run or pass. Once everybody knows, the D is set and loss certainly follows.
A true functioning dual function RQB is IMO an impossible build. The best you can do is great and mediocre, , or mediocre in both. so again you must choose and therefor lose.

Adding a pass game , as in regular is the only way to counter the defense, and give a consistent chance of success. I am here to win, not to win frequently, but to win it all. A zero chance forces us to take our ball elsewhere.

Well, you must admit that this holds true ONLY if you insist upon using a rushing QB. That is the limiting factor for your team, and yeah it's rough for rush qbs at this level, just as it's rough at the low levels to defend them. So you basically make a choice to get trophies early and often, and not later, unless you move on from rush qbs.

I'll have a home playoff game next season - you guys tuck that tail between your legs and keep on running. Pussies.

This is pretty much where I'm at on the whole RQB thing.

Believe you're missing something here. Ray is stuck on RQB success, he's looking for a way to have that successful in a high league. While I'm against RQBs in general, I get why he's doing it.
