Because the ranking script is heavy on SoS, Fort Worth is temporarily "punished" because it does not have the only undefeated team (Ft. Worth 12-0) on its schedule and all of the teams that Fort Worth plays on its schedule have at least one loss.Where as every other team that plays Fort Worth receives the temporary "benefit" of having a schedule that includes an undefeated team. If the ranking script placed less emphasis on SoS and more on win-loss record then Fort Worth would be ranked number one. But that does not mean that jpjn94 is using a bad script. I like the ranking script that jpjn94 is using because that ranking script is very useful in comparing teams in two separate conferences. If we were just ranking one conference we could throw SoS completely out the window and just rely on win-loss record and offensive and defensive rankings because all teams would essentially have the same teams on their schedule. But since we are comparing all teams on two separate schedules, SoS should be heavily weighted in the ranking script. If, for example, all of the truly talented teams ended up in one conference or another, then it would not be as impressive if one team went undefeated. 16 victories against a bunch of 8-8 teams by the leader of one conference is not as impressive as a 12-4 record against a bunch of 11-5 and 10-6 teams in another completely separate conference. So if you are comparing teams in two separate conferences, that dont play against each other in the regular season, then adding a SoS component is crucial to weighing the overall value of any particular team and ranking that value against teams in separate conferences.

I think the Panthers are done. Without an OC worth a darn, we're a one and done team in the playoffs. Congrats, in advance, to the Chiefs for winning Gold this season.

If it were only that easy. I feel like we are hitting our stride but the playoffs are a different story. The 3rd game with themob will show me where we really are, they are really tough.

I didn't get a chance to read all this when I logged in this morning, but I do agree with all of this; I was merely pointing out why some teams are ranked in different areas. Clearly the Jackals shouldn't be on top, but they are in the weaker conference

You're supposed to be game planning for the one and done playoff team; not talking to the in the forums! DCs

OCing is a lot easier than you think; I mean I'm successful at it and I'm drunk most of the time I'm game planning

See what I did there was not tell you which team we're going to matchup with because I hate playing the stupid North Side Mob that doesn't let me score a bunch of points on them. BASTARDS!!!!
