Question on that, are all 3 additions treated as 1 piece?

So if you have 1 piece of AEQ at 15%, does all 3 CEQ purchases, 12% total, equal a second piece that is then halfed for a net gain of 6%

or

Does the level 32 count as piece 2 and halfed, level 56 count as 3rd piece and gets quartered etc.............

Since you have the 2 weeks of spreadsheets available, how many flex will it cost in this new system to field an entire team on your own?

Correct.

Say you have two AEQ's that are +15% and the CEQ is +12%, total value would be:

+15
+7.5
+3

+25.5 total value

Yes, treated as one piece.

If you really want us to pay more, why not offer us more plateau for a flex cost ? Say 100 flex per season, maximum of two seasons, non-refundable of course. That would work too. We burn the flex faster (more money for you), but at the same time we get more bang for the buck.

Would you need to have the SA unlocked for that dot to get the +4 from the new CEQ (like, you'd have to spend 30 BTs to unlock FS for a LB to then also add +4 FS)?

You dont have to for AEQ, so my guess would be no, but good ?

Nope, you'll be able to choose any SA.
