One last thing. How will time spent on the waiting list effect a persons place in line if a player that created an account earlier suddenly decides they want to get on the waiting list? Will there be a certain amount of time for everyone that currently has an account to sign up on the list? I'm asking this because I don't think it would be fair for a person that has been on the list for 2 seasons to suddenly be bumped back in line because someone from season one decides that he now want's a team. If this question has already been asked I apologize for the duplication. If someone would direct me to the answer I'd appreciate it.
That's why the 30 day thing was put in place. People who's accounts are over 30 days old will be placed on the list in the order they signed up on the wait list. People who have been here less than thirty days are placed on the list in order of the date their accounts were created.
If you've been here less than thirty days, you can be trumped by someone who's been here longer than thirty days signing up after you. However, once you reach the thirty day mark, you can't be trumped any more, they'll wind up after you, regardless of how long they've been around.
The overall effect it will have is two-fold - First, when the list first goes active, it will keep the top of the list from being filled with guys who just signed on in the last couple of weeks or so and happened to be online when the list went active. After that, it will probably pretty much ensure that you have to be around the site for more than 30 days to get a team, unless the supply begins to outwiegh the demand, which I don't see happening any time soon.
So in your 2 season example, they wouldn't get trumped, since someone on the waiting list for 2 seasons will have obviously been here for more than 30 days.
