Ok...this running shit is getting ridiculous. I am calling the correct plays and have the correct builds and I still can't run. Inside...outside...nothing. My FBs can't find a defender a foot away to block. My PURE BLOCKING TEs are getting pancaked by freaking CBs. If my running game doesn't get significantly better by vet, I'm out. Or if running gets nerfed again, I'm out.

What makes you socsureyouhave "the correct builds"? You've never fielded a winning team as far as unaware.

So - I opened a random play - and this:

You are literally running with 3 TEs - 1 to 2 which are always taking an OOP penalty - with no backups. They are presumably up against pure run-stopping CBs. I think you get the point. That play - they all started with 12 - 13 energy.

You are running with 15 players on O, of which only 1 is a star (and at a very non-key position at that). I'm not sure how you expected to come up with a decent O.

EDIT: Something amazing - I rewinded the possession. By the third offensive play your TEs were starting plays at below 15 energy. That's pretty awful.

How hard is it to build a pure run blocking TE?

My TEs have 35 conditioning but not much toughness or heart. Gonna raise those a bit.

With such a small offensive roster just raising some toughness and heart isn't going to help you a whole lot. You better hope those TEs have a very large conditioning cap or else you're in huge trouble as we go up in tiers.

35 conditioning is so lowfor having no depth

This.

Honestly - I'd drop two CBs and an LB and pick up two blocking WRs, and either another rushing QB or a S* Rushing QB or HB (replacing your own) if possible. I know you're so obsessed with your Zone D but your Offense isn't going to work.

They will get +15 from cap boosters and will end with 55 conditioning.

That STILL sucks for having no depth

Yeah that's not going to cut it by the time you get to vet, at least if you plan on running outside with some consistency for an entire game.

Lucky for you since we're only in sophomore you can make a seasoned player from rookie if you play your cards right on the second to last day of games.

The main reason I made Grievous was to get him to 96 intimidation and Gold Trash Talk. But if Trash Talk isn't worth it, I'll probably cut him and make 1 or 2 blocking WRs.

I'll save you the trouble. It's not.

Don't think it has anything to do with a need for blocking WR's. He will definitely need some superstar rushers though because the average LB will be stuffing a non superstar back pretty easily and if you can tackle a back with just a lone tackler the run game because very simple to shut down.
