Possession WRs are ded. If you don't have at least 70+ speed and quickness then you probably aren't going to be successful this season.

A lot of CBs don't run below a 5.0 either...

You will have to show me the 5.25 LB's blanket covering WR's or TE's. I haven't seen it. And there is good reason we keep my 5.24 LB out of coverage as well.

Your LB's are slightly faster than that but last year they gave up better than 70% completions which puts them on par with NFL numbers. This season so far 43% - thats 4%'s points better than Richard Sherman last season and better than any CB who played more than 50% of his teams snaps (basically all the starters and nickelbacks). Also 17% better than NFL's highest rated coverage LB last season (Jamie Collins). Collins is athletic my run stuffing MLB 2 of 7 passes allowed http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/35537.

Here he is "blanketing" this TE

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/28798

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/149420/393804?player_id=35537

Those were the only 2 passes thrown remotely in his direction on any man coverage assignment he had in 3 regular season games this season. Both completions.

Moral of the story is you have to watch the games and not the stat boxes to decipher whether those LB's and Safeties are actually good in man coverage or they are just part of several guys in an area when a receiver drops a ball.

I'm not saying its an "always" condition; I'm saying they are too effective in general:

Just in general nothing was wrong with completion % what was wrong was the lack of jeopardy in passing as well as the passing into double teams. Give me one minute.

Lack of Jeopardy:

Season 8 My QB threw 14 interceptions high by GLB2 standards but very misleading - we threw 1,613 passes in 30 games. Thats one interception every 115 passes; that would literally be hall of fame territory and its his highest interception ratio of his career.

NFL Average last season for all QBs playing 500 or more snaps: 1 every 45. Not enough passing jeopardy.

That's part of the reason I'm so big with CB's playing with their backs to the ball , off the WR, and giving more space. Also saying that pressure does not always equal sacks.

If you don't like #'s look at Tom Brady's last 3 interceptions this season (2 in the SuperBowl 1 against the Colts)
One caused by pressure the Michael Bennett pressure that Brady then underthrows
One to Bobby Wagner (Wagner playing with his eyes on Brady simply tracks the throw takes it away)
One to D'Qwell Jackson throwing into double coverage down the middle

The problem is never completion percentage and buffing LB's , S's , and CB's ability to break up passes was a the wrong direction. Making passing teams pay for throwing into double coverage, having bad throws under pressure, and aligning DB's to where they can best play is a much better answer.

Your LB gave up 2 complete passes on 2 targets this season. How is he effective again?

It sounds like to me that you want to see NFL games replayed into the GLB2 sim every week.
