I'm assuming that the number of boosts already purchased via flex points will be refunding using the old system?

So if you have a Level 75 player that boosted 39 times..... and he has been converted to the new age and all that.... You'll get the full 70% of the total flex spent for all 39 boosts??.... even though it only takes 20 or so to get to that level/age in the new system.

Stupid question but I just wanted to make sure.

You're not going to lose retirement flex value. If you put in 4000 flex on a dot, you'll get 2800 back. Retirement flex is based on flex invested.

If there is something inherently broken with the sim, we'll fix it. Moving out of Beta mainly means no major changes/additions to the game. We'll always address sim issues and bugs.

Dear mr catch, I'm afraid I have to inform you that there is something inherently broken with the sim. Look at the battle of the trenches. Does it look anything BUT broken? And returns right now are simply nowhere near what they could or should be. 65 power and 100 super elusive react the same way.

At least, AT LEAST these two issues need attention before GLB can claim to be out of beta.

And one more thing, you misunderstood staz's intentions. And mine. I don't want plain physics. I just want something that looks good, and so did he. 150 revcakes for DTs and 4 pancakes for Cs aren't looking good. The fact that those 150 revcakes get you 2 sacks and 15 hurries looks even worse. These numbers need adjusting, by means of physics or by some other means!

p.s. Oh, and you might still want to have that SA and VA sweep to check what is underpowered and what is overpowered and adjust accordingly (hopefuly all of them work by now).

no? I'm only going to get 70% of the flex back I spent to make a player who's value is alot less after the change then before in regards to boosting requirements.

Should get that extra 30% back on the excess boosts I had to use in the old system...it's not like I want cash, I'm gonna recycle it and that cash was spent by bort a long time ago...bleh.

But your career will be four seasons longer then a newly created dot, and you'll end up paying less in non-refundable flex per season. If you are one of those people who only care about lvl 72's, I guess you're SOL.

Edit: I thought these quote auto-failure user names were against the rules. Or am I thinking of some other forum ?

We could possibly extend plateau length. We're not set in stone on that one. The general idea we have in mind though is that we want player to rotate through a little bit more often.

I love the plan and hope for a little longer plateau!

Thanks Catch and hope all the math works out!

There will still be changes but no major changes. It isn't that difficult to understand.

Nevermind, was already answered. They'll be crushing the sophomores then.

Not really. They'll be 72 days old at beginning of season. Will have to play in University.

Too late. It will butcher the current league structure after the massive reset this will cause.

huge group of dots will be 359 this off season.

In your conversion do they fall into season 5 or 6?

207 days old based on the chart I have. So that would be season 5.

Also while we have a pretty good idea of the implementation of this, nothing is set in stone. If some one can come up with a better way to do something, we'll definitely look it over and evaluate it.

I'm more concerned that the age conversion is going to put players in a league's mid-range. For example, I'm guessing that the current Local Minors, most of whom will be 200 days old at the end of this season, will convert to roughly 105 days old in the new system, putting them in the middle of the new Regional Minor, along with converted University and Regional Minor players. That seems to be a wide gap in talent level to me. Would it be possible to maintain the current age divisions -- with a smaller than 40-day window after conversion, natch -- and phase in the new ones as those dots get older?

I'm guessing that Catch22 is checking with Bort and DD before answering.

Yeah, this is the biggest issue with the implementation currently.

CEQ additions will be subject to AEQ stacking limitations.

I'd like to see those 200 flex CEQ upgrades go away. That would make the cost per season in non-refundable flex more in line with what it is now.
If you really want us to pay more, why not offer us more plateau for a flex cost ? Say 100 flex per season, maximum of two seasons, non-refundable of course. That would make it an option, not a requirement (which it in it's current form will be for anyone who wants to be at the top of their age group).

That one's pretty much set in stone lol. Sorry.

We're probably going to add two seasons of plateau. Just waiting on Bort's approval before changing.
