Especially since the new archetype rules are making every current player damn useless. We have no choice but to drop down or we'll all be fielding CPUs. But if we field CPUs, we automatically drop! Now you've gone and ate your own tail.

Who said anything about giving up and starting over? I've been an owner since season 8, have fielded playoff teams every season, pay for all equipment for all my players. With the increase of people going to be retiring after this season I will be choosing to demote down and already have a bunch of the same agents on my team currently who will be making players for my team. So why am I to be punished since I have a full stadium and have to start over? Spending real $$ every season to keep a team that is what should allow a team owner an advantage. What makes me want to buy FP and extend my ownership now if I have to start all over from what I started in season 8?

I'm in your boat... I had money for all my player's equipment until now as guys are at L40. We took our lumps along the way. So what advantage I have demoting now I have earned. We have been outleveled badly by a bunch of bullshit rules and we fought to win 13+ games every season. Scrimping on cash to build our stadium. We've planned this demotion for 2-3 seasons and now you're gonna screw us over???? Our teams have invested a shitload of flex building players for this transition.

I have literally built from the ground up 3 full teams in the last 5-6 seasons. I have taught agents the game and they spend flex. But I'm really at a breaking point on this one. And when I leave, don't be surprised if our teams and agents dissolve.

sounds like only a couple of people are upset with this and they will keep posting repeatedly.

I say lock this topic and implement the changes before rollover.

so you know how to build a stadium then youre saying right? so why not build it from bottom up like everyone else has to when they start from the bottom since you obviously will have no issue with EQ upgrades cuz you know better to not make mistakes

I'm in the same boat as you. Even bought two more teams to do it. Think of all that cash and time wasted.

Especially because if you want your own players or friends to play on your team, you have to demote yourself to use them. If you have a good team, you have to eventually go down that ladder and work back up. But now to do that, you have to burn it all to the ground first.

As I stated earlier in this thread, I have been on the bad end of this (as an owner/recruiter at the lower caps recruiting against demoters). Legit cap 14 teams are in stadium building mode and if you are a few players away from having a full roster you get what's left after the demoted teams pick through the FAs. Trust me, this is experience talking...I'm not making assumptions.

So Prairie Oysters have never demoted and kept their monopoly money and monopoly stadium?
