It's near impossible to have a fair decision when you have dozens of people involved. Best option would be for Bort to read the thread, pick something he likes, and tell us we can either accept it or go fuck ourselves.

Again, it should sound simple. For some reason, it isn't.
* South America had a mod, player and all-around good guy who had to quit the game for some pretty serious health reason: Satchmo-n-Dizzy
* Bort himself suggested the conference names be changed to Satchmo/Dizzy
* Overwhelming support was poured into the thread that was created
* In the suggestion forum, it became an Epic Suggestion
* Nothing happened
* The SA forum thread was bumped on a very regular basis
* Nothing happened
* A regular flow of requests were sent to customer support and higher-up admins
* Nothing happened
* Six months after Bort suggested the change, the conference names were changed
Now, it may be that Bort does more with it this time since it isn't some backwater league (filled with paying customers) but his new high-visibility Precious, but my guess is this doesn't get done anytime soon, especially since there isn't the agreement there was in SA.
