Not if Bort just gives us the amount of bonus token we would have earned over the course of our carrier. Then we can immediately upgrade our equip to our level and customize it ourselves.

As an additonal suggestion, if it hasn't come up already, how about adding to the three current choices that a player gets from refreshing the store, how about adding more option, per player level?

I never thought i would agree with a Raiders fan but +1 to this

Any consensus on this? I would love to know if vets will get tokens for seasons played, prior to introduction of adv. eg.

OK Bort doesn't want to give us a huge amount of bonus tokens and have our equipment become to powerful to fast.

So give us one Adv. equip upgrade per season our player has been active. Normally we would have earned 2 upgrades per season so this is still screwing us out of half of the upgrades we would have earned but at least this would make our Adv. equip comparable to our normal equip and justify buying/using adv. equip.

I'm still weary of it though. My two oldest players are 31's and it would kill them if they took off one piece of equipment for some piece that would take me ages to get up to par with what i took off. So a way i noticed was buy the piece if you can (but since shopping tokens are wasted with the refreshing there really isn't a point to it.) and hang on to it and save the points to upgrade it. I haven't done this yet for my older players but i have for the newer ones.

I know what you mean but if you were given 8 tokens for each season, probably 3 season that would give you at least +3 attribute and +1 SA which would be equal attribute bonus to your lvl 24 equip. and should surpass your equip at lvl 32.

This would allow for balancing of equip without making it to dominant.

So is there going to be any attempt to balance adv equip for vet players?

Thats a decent idea, but I'd rather take the 2 SPs I'd get from the 2 temp boost out of that 8 tokens and put them in my attributes or a SA and keep the equipment I have. Just seems like such a waist.

I'm not gonna read this entire thread to catch up but I think the Advanced Equipment should amplifiy the equipment you already have. If you pick up a shoe that gives +2% chance of Forcing Fumbles, then it should be added to the shoe you already own. So now for example your shoe would be +6 Strength with 2% chance of FF.

This is the big question, its been a whole regular season now, just about, so I'm thinking not until the offseason at least.

Not sure if this has been brought up or not. I don't feel like scrolling through 20 pages of forums. The limit of 5 roll over bonus tokens is somewhat misguided in my opinion, especially for vet players. If a vet player wants to upgrade their new equipment they have to spend 8 bonus tokens. So, lets say I have a vet player that gets to his last night of training before he is able to upgrade said equipment. That night also happens to be the final night before season roll-over. I would have to either use my +5 boost or lose my tokens. As difficult and as expensive as it already is for veteran players to upgrade the new equipment, this just makes the new equipment less attractive for veteran players. Why not make the roll-over limit 7 to allow players that have been training all off season for equipment upgrades the ability to keep working at upgrading their equipment? If I have 7 bonus tokens the night before season roll-over, I am now required to spend them or lose them; thus, I would have to spend them and start all over at 2 bonus tokens just in order to upgrade my equipment. All of this for a vet player comes after selling off all previously owned equipment at a huge loss, making the new equipment even more unattractive for vets.

Bort already answered, and implied that it would be set at 7......Said they would talk about it and that 7 sounded ok. Not a clear answer but it has been addressed

I'm not going to read all the pages of this thread.

How I would make Advanced Equipment work tobring more in line with current state of things and encourage people to use it.

Adding attributes to it is handled just like 'normal' equipment.

UPGRADING the bonuses already on the equipment, costs bonus tokens and a cash value based on the bonus you are increasing and its present level (scaling appropriately)

So I buy a $50,000 peice of equipment with +2 Catching and +1 Power Through SA I can add attributes to it immediately if I have the cash, upgrading it like a normal piece of equipment.

But if I want to add to its power through SA that costs 8+ bonus tokens. (maybe a return to the 10 tokens from originally) and might cost me another $50,000 bucks justt o make it +2 Power Through and then $200,000 to make it +3 and $800,000 to make +4 etc (monetary costs in addition to bonus tokens....

Because 8 bonus tokens is still too expensive just to add a normal attribute point when it will take many players 40 bonus tokens more than a single season worth of training) to get the equipment back to the attribute bonuses they had previous with 'normal' equipment.

Would you lose out on the +SA's if you did that?
