Trying out a zone coverage underneath was the mistake. I still have no idea what the hell those backers were doing. The blitzing wasn't the problem, it was that the backers wouldn't stay in the middle zone to pick up the TE. Most of the replays have one of my LBs heading off to the deep third of the field! F' the zone D in this game.

I screwed my offense over. I got so damn focused on the advanced tactics that I forgot to reset the general ones back to normal from screwing around at the end of last season! 100% long passes with 50% going to the HB didn't work so well.
