Root canals are expensive but the one I had didn't hurt for shit. No worse than a cavity.

What gets you is if it's already abscessed and they can't numb it down good. Fortunately mine wasn't that bad.

I've found that the worse the tooth is the less painful the root canal is because the nerve is more dead.

I am fairly sure its a renegade wisdom tooth. Its growing sideways and under the back most tooth. Heading to the ER tomorrow for it...my guess is they will just pull it.

Just curious, do you guys have to pay for dental out of your own pocket?? DO you not get money back??

Dental plans fucking fail in the US. If you have one, they never pay for shit, if you don't have one they never pay for shit. I am lucky though I am still covered under dad vet rewards(Only one more year....fail) so I get tri-care, thus it will be cheap.

Ah just curious, up here north of the border, we usually get anywhere from 75%-100% depending on your works dental plan..

We have to buy our own dental and health plans in the US but we have lower taxes because of it. Typical dental plans aren't too expensive through your employer but the expensive stuff usually only covers 50% and coverage is typically only $1000 per year. Usually, free exams, cleanings and X rays. 80% on fillings or extractions.

Cerneo Watch:

Wisdom Tooth pulled, it sucked, alot. They cut it our after a rush job. And then gave me a script for....4....vicodin. As in 4 total. Oh and a bag of gauze, and some bullshit rule sheet.

Also I will have to have at least one of the top 2 removed if they start to come down.

Word to the wise, do not ask to be last one seen that day....They just wanted to leave ha.
