You have a larger ratings disadvantage to the NYC, but you have a chemistry advantage over both teams.
Good luck.
And post some game links up! We all want to see the action as it goes down.
As long as I can make a game of it I will be happy. Do you really think the chemistry will help?
it won't help that much. The differential isn't that relevant.
If you play a team with low chemistry then it can definitely be a factor...but the difference b/t 80 and 70, especially with our defense being virtually 80, will be effectively nil.
This game is huge for us, if we win we pretty much are in the drivers seat as our final test will be week 15 against New Orleans.
The Chicago team in week 11 will be pretty tough, but I don't believe they have the balance or depth to compete with us on either side of the ball. Our team is so deep we aren't even looking for more players. We've got a level 10 LB coming in to help with the sub situation for this game...and after this game a level 12 FS who'll probably play some SS as well.
I've very happy with where our team is personnel wise, and at this point every week save for a couple I'm experimenting with tactics, knowing full well that it doesn't matter if you win by 24 or 54, finishing 16-0 is the only guarantee at a one seed here with the strength of the remaining undefeated teams.
edit: not to mention, a good portion of our defense hasn't boosted yet. Saving it for later
I did think it would help that much. I just hope I dont get blown out by 50 points.
Please, our teams are virtually equal levels.
I am cautious optimistic we'll win, but I'd anticipate something more along the lines of maybe 20 to 10, or 20-13.
See, I told you Rolling Tide - great job. Our turnovers killed us. Our backup QB managed to play half the game (stamina issues on our starter, I guess). Our offense had no continuity.
You guys managed the clock (ran the ball 49 times), and despite your kicker won it in OT 9-6.
Good luck against New Orleans next week.
