playoff race update!!! crazy week of results for the drama

Two quasi elimination games upcoming: JUCO vs ROME & (sort of but not techically) TOKYO vs LONDON

Alpha:

Buckhead - CLINCHED Playoff-O-Meter: 100%

Reapers - +2, games against Blitzin, Rome, Buckhead. Best tiebreak (points allowed 156, next best alpha is Blitzin at 219.) A win against Blitzin means they go +2 on the Dots with two games to play and Reapers would own the h2h tiebreak. A new avenue has opened up for the Reapers, a Rome loss means a Reapers clinch unless the Yaks could make up a 136 point tiebreak. Still, tough games coming up and after losing to JUCO, things get tighter. Playoff-O-Meter: 88.5%

Blitzin - +1, games against Reapers, Buckhead, JUCO. no head to head tiebreak yet(split with Rome), second best Alpha points allowed (219). Winning one of their next three could do it (especially if it's against JUCO) but they'd really like 2 of 3 to be certain. Playoff-O-Meter: 75%

UP ONE SPOT -> JUCO - +1, games against Rome, CPU Bears, Blitzin. no head to head tiebreak yet but lost first match against Blitzin and Rome, third best lowest Alpha points allowed (226). Sniping one over the Reapers was huge for their chances, combined with Rome losing to Buckhead means they go a full game up. Defeating Rome means they go two up with two to play and a game vs the CPU bears. It's a win and in. Playoff-O-Meter: 75%

DOWN ONE SPOT -> Rome - -1, games against JUCO, Reapers, CPU bears. no head to head tiebreak yet (split with Blitzin) but crucially won the first match against JUCO. 290 points allowed which puts them squarely in last for the teams battling for the spots. With the poor tiebreak, the only sure way to the playoffs for Rome is winning the remainder of their games. Doing so would give them the h2h tiebreak over JUCO. Playoff-O-Meter: 25%

Beta:

Fish - CLINCHED Playoff-O-Meter: 100%

Kline - CLINCHED Playoff-O-Meter: 100%

Tokyo - 0, with games against London, Berlin, Kline. And so, they lost against Peewee and this race got a LOT more interesting. Losing to London means losing the h2h tiebreak and since London plays Berlin, they could no longer catch London. Win, and their far superior points allowed could carry them to the dance. Playoff-O-Meter: 50%

UP ONE SPOT -> Peewee - 0, with games against Kline, London and then the Fish. The combination of beating Tokyo and decent points allowed (342 vs 404 for London) means they're in decent shape. Not great, given their opponents and not having any direct h2h tiebreakers. They control their own destiny and that's all that matters right now. Playoff-O-Meter: 50%

DOWN ONE SPOT -> London - 0 with games against Tokyo, Peewee, Berlin. A guaranteed win vs Berlin on the way could be the decider, because all they have to do is beat Peewee and they'd be in due to head to head tiebreak. That's the only game that really matters for London but beating Tokyo could open up other paths as well. Playoff-O-Meter: 50%

All my focus is on pee wee. Obviously I’ll throw something for Tokyo because I would prefer to win out and take 3rd seed.

Playoff Push Chaos: Alpha & Beta Conferences Heating Up! The regular season is winding down, and these standings are delivering maximum drama. With the postseason right around the corner, every win feels like a dagger and every loss like a soul-crusher. Let’s break it down with some flair:Alpha Conference: The Royal BloodbathBuckhead is running the kingdom right now. At 11-2, the Royal Knights have been the most consistent squad all year and just rattled off 2 straight. They’re the clear favorite to claim the top seed and cruise into the playoffs with home-field swagger.Right on their heels are the Arctic Circle Grim Reapers (9-4). They’re reaping souls… except they just dropped one, so the scythe is a little dull this week. Still, they’re locked into the #2 spot for now and look dangerous. The real logjam is in the middle:Blitzin’ Dots and Coach Jason Brown’s JUCO Stogies are both sitting at 8-5 and riding positive momentum. These two are battling tooth-and-nail for that final playoff spot. One wrong move and it’s sudden-death time.
Rome Gladiator Yaks (7-6) are still alive but need to win out and pray for chaos above them. Those yaks are charging hard, but the clock is ticking.
Down at the bottom, the Arctic Snow Bears CPU (2-11) are basically in hibernation mode. Rough season, bears.

Alpha Takeaway: Buckhead looks unstoppable, but that 3-4-5 scramble is pure playoff tension. Expect fireworks.Beta Conference: Total MayhemWe’ve got a two-headed monster at the top. The Irridescent Ditch Fish (9-4) and Mr. Coach Kline’s DOTS (9-4) are dead even in the win column, but the DOTS are on an absolute 6-game tear. That’s the hottest streak in either conference — they’re rolling like a freight train right now.The bottom half is a three-way tie at 5-8 with wildly different vibes:Tokyo Godzillas just lost, so the big lizard is sulking.
Peewee’s Biggest Adventure won two straight — this plucky squad is peaking at the perfect time.
London Pee Wee Monarchs are in freefall with a brutal 6-game losing streak. The crown is slipping fast.

And then there’s the Berlin Mustaches (0-13). Oof. They’ve dropped 13 straight. At this point they’re not just bad — they’re legendary. Respect to the ‘stache for the commitment.Beta Takeaway: The DOTS’ hot streak might give them the edge for the #1 seed, but that 5-8 cluster means the final weeks will be absolute bloodsport for playoff positioning.Overall Vibes Heading Into PlayoffsFavorites: Buckhead Royal Knights & the red-hot DOTS
Teams to Watch: Anyone in that 8-5 / 5-8 mess — one game can flip everything
Storylines: Can the Grim Reapers live up to their name? Will the Yaks or Stogies crash the party? And can anyone stop the Mustaches from setting a historic futility record?

Buckle up, folks. The final stretch is going to be wild. May the best (and luckiest) squad survive the gauntlet! Who you got winning it all? Drop your bold predictions below!

Season 120 Peewee Uprising! Week 13 Power Rankings!!

Games are all so big right now, playoff picture is entertaining and a solid team from each side won't be seeing the post season!

1. Mr Coach Kline's DOTS- Leland is looking real fine, a fresh shave, a magic coat of armour and a pet flying scythe. Who would have guessed that out of all the random players in the league his rise to fame and world dominance would be so spectacular!

2. Buckhead Royal Knights- Ahh! Things are feeling a little more back to normal in the Knightdom after giving the Yaks a good whooping! Passing game looking strong! Looks like Buckhead has the top seed locked up!

3. Coach Jason Browns JUCO Stogies- After two days of partying the JUCOs were a bit haggard and needed a nap, a shower and a shave. And lucky for them 55 cans of Barbasol were sprinting right for them! They took the shaving cream right to the jawbone, de-armed the deranged skeletons and had a fine, close shave! Looking sharp and ready for post season action!

4. Irridescent Ditch Fish- Fish knew this one was never in doubt, the spell we cast on the Monarchs during that first scrim of the season is still working strong! Who were those safeties covering all game? Some weird zone defense there, but the fish receivers loved it!

5. Rome Gladiator Yaks- Yaks meet a familiar foe and were hoping maybe they would steal another one given the Knights uncertainties. Instead the offense was dreadful and the defense couldn't get off the field.

6. Arctic Circle Grim Reapers-The skeleton army all grabbed their Barbasol cans and charged as the Stogies left the dance. It was a good battle to begin but the Reapers ended up beaten, losing their Barbasol and their shaving instruments. They are truly feeling Grim and unarmed going into a brutal final stretch.

7. Blitzin' Dots- Getting a week off is always nice, now it is time to run the gauntlet! Dots will need and upset or two to reach playoffs, they are certainly capable of beating anyone.

8. Peewee's Biggest Adventure- The Adventure isn't over yet! A huge victory over that ill feeling, foul breathed lizard keeps PBA right in the thick of the playoff race.

9. Tokyo Godzillas- You should know better than to eat us toxic fish species, being from Japan and all, home of fine seafood. Pufferfish has to be cooked just right or you will be hurting the next game. Big game this week!

10. London Pee Wee Monarchs- Monarchs entered and are still in some sort of time portal, blame it on the Pickles! Two huge games in a row will determine if they make the playoffs.

11. Hartford Bouncing Pickles-Pickles scored a nice win over PBA and thought they would get the bump up the charts and they would have had PBA not stunned Tokyo.

12.Thunder Mountain Turtlebacks- Have a game versus the Skidmarks this week so maybe at least worth a game plan.

Also receiving votes!
none.

We did enjoy whatever defense it was as it seemed like a lot more open guys than normal.

my DC isn't going to like this one, but it's more the builder than anything.

next season expect some changes, I am building most of the dots myself, so i only have myself to blame lol.

It seemed odd, 3 deep zone, against short pass attack.

Fiesty Pickles! Feeling a bit dill today!

We arise from a salty brine ready and proper - adding gold-team's tears to that birthing brine will just make our victories taste sweeter.

We are Pickle Pugilists! We fear no Yak, has-been college coach, Knight or glowy fish. All will choke on our effervescence!

It is clear it is no random act that the servers came down. It is a Pee Wee Gold coup to prevent our further rise!

It’s times like this I wish I could do my own defense. I’ve tried and failed. I’ll have first make sure what defense I ran and have dusk check it out.

If the scrim that was supposed to have taken place two days ago ever happens. I’ll see what my new test defensive plays did but here we sit still waiting
