M/W/F advancing at night seems like it's definitely doable without messing up peoples schedules. I just joined two other CFMs that do that.

simming M/W/F at 10ish pm pst sounds good to me

Works for me. Helps the league keep moving while giving people a couple days per week to get in touch with their opponent.

even at 40 qb pass acc it is still nearly impossible to throw in the wind, played in 15 mph wind last night and the CPU missed 2 FGs and i missed one as well (from like 38 yds out) but the difference was their qb was somehow playing like tom brady (mark sanchez as i injured bradford 1st play lol) and went like 15/16 while i literally could not hit the side of a barn. when i finally just rage quit out, i saw cruz wide open on an underneath drag route - no lineman in the way, no defenders near him, i tossed a bullet over to him (no left stick adjustment at all and holding down the L2 "low" modifier) and the ball sailed 5 feet over his head and right into the arms of an MLB about 8 yds behind him for an easy INT (3rd of the 1st half, all from similar plays)

im just not sure what to do about the acc. if we set it lower (around 30-35ish) its not bad in a dome, feels about right, but then when you play in an open field (esp in the winter) it is near impossible. i have not found a setting decent enough at all, im leaning towards just leaving it at the default 50 and just rolling with it. even at 35 the CPU qb can still lazer the ball in to a WR in any conditions though so idk

I have yet to use the L2 pass modifier successfully, so I have avoided it completely, fwiw

What's Elis short pass accuracy? Anything less than 90 isn't good if human pass acc is 35 or 40.

I have a potentially nasty outdoor game this week at Chicago, so we'll see how my passing is.

I just played in 17 mph winds and it was pretty much impossible to throw deep. Forced me to run and throw short routes. Still missed some short throws here and there but as long as I didn't lead a throw it was decent.

I just played through my game and I really tried to pass attention to passing.

I think where we had it at 40 seemed really good.... 45 seems a little too easy to pass. I completed 72% in 13 mph winds in Chicago, and Bueno threw for 374 and 5 TDs in an outdoor game in Cleveland. Long pass should be extremely tough when you have sub-80 pass long acc and you're throwing in low-mid double-digit winds.

My only bad throws seemed to be when I got that red "under pressure" pass feedback... when you had those bad passes from Eli, how close was the pass rush to you and do you have that pass feedback display showing? I have a feeling if we up pass blocking a hair (to lower pressure a little, but put pass acc back down to 40, it'll be fine. Most all-madden sliders have pass acc lower than we do, but have pass blocking up a little. I do like more CPU sacks, but if the options were really high user comp % and more CPU sacks vs less CPU sacks and lower human comp %, i'd take the latter.

That said, I do like fumbles where they are right now... I had one by Abdullah (he has high 70s in carry)

Eifert out for the year, which is a huge loss for us Roster Rating Fan Happiness went from 3rd to 16th with that one injury, and no other signees

fwiw, there are only a few QBs in the NFL that complete over 50% of their deep passes (20+ yards in the air)... the average is roughly around 40ish... and at most, the best complete roughly two long passes a game. That's over the span of a season, so in heavy winds late in season those numbers are much worse.

I'm glad I got back in time to play my week 17 game. Looking forward to getting Wilson and Graham back for the playoffs.

The pace for the league has slowed considerably, so I would be in favor of keeping things moving a little faster. With that said, I think for the playoffs we should make sure everyone gets to play their playoff games, so it might stay slow until the end of the season.

This might be a bit too far away but how are we planning on doing the draft? It might be tough to get everyone online at the same time, but I have never done an online franchise before.

In regards to the sliders, they are probably at a good level. I am having a much harder time racking up great stats and blowing out CPU teams lately. I know part of it is missing 2 of my top players but I also think moving to All-Madden was the change that the league needed.

Good luck to everyone in the playoffs!

Commish is going to have to pick a date and time for the draft where it's reasonable for as many people as possible. Unlikely that everyone will be happy with it but we can only appease so many people. Depending on when playoffs end is when we can discuss the draft. We'd probably need 1 whole day for free agency so everyone has their shot to make FA bids and then the next day should probably be the draft (unless the order is reversed, can't remember which order it goes in)

i made some final adjustments to the sliders last night and they are going to now be locked for the offseason and next season

for the draft, im not sure how we handle that, maybe set it up for a sunday?

Might be difficult because of football.

Just pick a day and do it. It'll never line up for everybody. Somebody will pull something out their ass like Tdiddy and his butt plugs.

I think a weeknight would probably work best for most people, as that seems to be the time most of the group here is active on the boards, no?

Whoever gets the CPU for the 2nd round NFC game in the playoffs should have an EASY game, while the other has to play a human... either I'm getting the Cards with Sanchez, or Rob gets the Panthers with Joe Webb at QB. I was hoping a 1-seed would get me a CPU 2nd round but tht's not a definite anymore :-/

It's Free Agency first, then draft

weeknights for me are a mess, i work until around 7pm pst (10pm est)

weekends i am off and can be on whenever. my thoughts would be this - finish up the playoffs Fri/Sat/Sunday and then the offseason we setup like mon/tues for FA and then i guess we hold the draft on wednesday night? I will try to be on around 5pm pst (8pm est) but that is the earliest I can guarantee
