With the plethora of low scoring/low yardage games and even 0-0 ties between rushing teams soph+ is it safe to say that these changes have gone a bit too far?

I want to see how power backs do in later tiers. Are there any all rushing teams in vet with power backs?

Your offense will always suck if that's what you are wondering. Too much focus on making a zone defense work. Your zone D has always been viable, you just suck at offense. This version is even worse than your last. Way too much salary allocation to the defense.

Wrath and GA both have PB's. Without a superstar to mix it up though you are just gonna suck it up. Defense is so much easier without worrying about stopping a superstar back on the outside.

Vet powerbacks can still work. Probably not as easy without the extra skill points from S*. You've got to have enough sprinting to outrun some defenders and stretch the defense. 50 sprinting 100 power running type guys are struggling a bunch this season getting gang tackled sooner on plays.

An example I saw of the RB cutting upfield early in today's game. Didn't net much, just 4 yards, but interesting nonetheless.

Speed is over rated on power backs. Mine will end with 30 speed. I don't need long TDs from him. I need a solid 5-6 hard fought yards...wearing down the defense. I need time of possession.

I want to see how that 30 speed pHB does when he's hit by 2-3 LBs on outside runs who all are 80+ tackling tech with good power tackling and grip to boot

hahahahaha
with 30 speed he will get TFL'd on any outside run he get stuck with. He'll get 2-3 ypc up the middle against any decent run defense since you'll have little to no threat to the outside. Even if you wanted to run outside with your elusive back, theres no way to stop the sim from throwing your 30 speed power back in on those runs. Hence why I went with my system.

You will get gangtackled to death. The faster the RB is, the faster he'll be able to go as he's dragging a tackler. With a RB that slow, you won't be able to run outside.
Even the most consistent offenses can get bogged down, you need the ability to get chunk plays. You need more than consistent 4-5 yard gains, because every now and then the D-line wins, and those gains get dropped to 1-2 yards. You need the ability to get bigger gains from every HB you have. Otherwise you'll be punting a lot.

GE, you need to watch Winnepeg games this season. They're the model for what you're suggesting, except they've got S* HBs, so they have the points to get sprinting up in the 50s or so.
I'd guess if you asked glwarriors how he'd change them for this SIM, he'd say he would have made them faster like GA and Richmonds powerbacks.
Hell, I regret GAs elusive only having sprinting in the 80s. He gets alot of corners after sweet moves that he can't quite exploit fully.
