That wasn't as bloody as I thought it'd be. Although I thought it was hilarious that our first 2 handoffs to the HBs resulted in fumbles. Makes me glad I didn't try to pound it like I wanted. You'd be shocked if you saw what their grip values were despite my constant whining for them to increase it.

GG Panties, next time we'll be sure to soil you

GG. Was frustrating watching the two TEs have 14 drops between them. Left some points on the board there.

Don't blame them, our defense actually got the rattled factor on your QB somewhat early in the game. We just didn't get any movement on offense till the third quarter.

I was hoping to score more than 14 points though, so I could get the most points scored against your defense. You do bring up a good note though. Van Hohenheim got player of the game despite Fingerbang getting 21 passes his way

Rattled QB doesn't effect dropped balls. That's just on the receivers. Kudos to getting to the QB but the only thing that effects is bad throws and keeping TEs and HBs in to block.

Well, I was referring more the hurried effect that makes the ball harder to catch. Even if it doesn't count as a hurry. I mean 18 drops goes beyond the parameters of being screwed by RNG

Potentially but you guys only ended up sacking DP 5 times so I'm not sure how much I buy that argument. Especially considering PORN almost tripled that sack number but you guys were able to drive and score 2 TDs in the 4th.

Most of your sacks came in the 4th, or were otherwise in 3rd and long situations (I think you got one on 2nd and long earlier in the game though). Something caused your drops, 18 isn't RNG, I know it wasn't our coverage lol.

Could also be because Captain Awesome can shake off pressure due to his fairly high Heart, Toughness and Leadership values for his level that he was able to do well in the 4th, despite the Oline giving up

I'm sure it had something to do with it but 18 drops in rookie is very much RNG. We've had games with 23+ drops and barely any pressure all game. It just comes with the territory of rookie because builds just aren't there yet to be consistent on a game to game basis. Sacks and hurries can exasperate the drops but in rookie you don't need much. 1 to 2 straight drops can very easily start a cascade effect in rookie.

Drops beget more drops. The morale spiral that's induced from a drop fuels more drops, and more morale loss.

Heart's the best defense against it, but squeezing in even minor investments into heart to 20-25 in rookie is hard to do.

Agreed. You come across a dilemma between if you want to invest in heart early or work on skills more directly related to performance (hands for WRs, pass tech/acc for QBs, etc). You go the heart route you risk not having good peak performances. Invest in performance skills and see better peak performance but be more subject to highs and lows.

Yeah. ^^^ What bueno and Gali said

On the mention of sacks and pressure. You may have 13 sacks but only 2 hurries. On the flip side we got 5 sacks and 9 hurries. While a sack is worth alot more when it comes to rattled we still had enough pressure from hurries to induce a pressured/rattled feel on your throws likely affecting their quality.

Still those numbers are what you'd expect considering your Oline is waaay better at pass blocking than ours and your S* QB is able to get rid of the ball quicker. I'm still surprised you didn't get more sacks and hurries.

Considering where DPs tech/accuracy is right now in this point in rookie id say he's probably the best qb in rookie to be dealing with hurried throws. Now if bad plays start happening it might be a different story but just from an accuracy perspective i think he might have the best numbers.

Yeah definately it's nice having that luxury. On the flipside Captain Awesome is probably the most consistent late game because of his Lship, Heart, and Toughness

I've always hated being at the mercy of RNG so I tend to build up the skills needed to be consistent early. Usually results in my teams having bad rookie seasons, and true enough our start was pretty bad. This team has exceeded my rookie expectations though. Luckily I've got some great agents on the team, some of which aren't afraid to tell me off when I do something stupid in the offense (looks at Valiant Archer)

First you claim you are going to win and then you lose by 25 and think it went better than you expected?

In regards to the hurries/sacks. I didn't go with ZEB nearly as much in this game, just to play it safe. We only ran 11 ZEB vs 61 passing plays, while you guys ran 46 ZEB against 72 passing plays. Also, my DE's were set to evasive after facing 2 rushing teams in a row and forgot to change them back, but even still I went with a more conservative gameplan.
